“It’s poisonous” “I can’t chew it at all” “it’s very hard to cut”It’s all clear sign that is not edible but this guy just keep eating it, idk if I should be impressed or smh lol

If I had the option between starving and eating a sea turd, I’d choose the first option.

For the people that doesnt understand the meaning of “I feel in killing it” is because it feels more personal and you feel like you are killing the animal, is not the same when you kill a lobster or something because in most cases it die with a swift chop to the brain.

I respect that even when he found out these arent’t as easy to eat, he still tried to find ways to cook them nicely because he felt bad for killing them in the first place. I wouldn’t have blamed him if he couldn’t eat them cause they’re poisonous, but I like that he tries his best not to waste food :’)

The same poison is found in the roots of the yucca plant and can be used as a soap substitute. I wonder if this creature can be used as soap as well LOL

I never thought I would be interested in watching videos about someone cutting up huge sea animals and learning about the parts and how they taste. Hehe Masaru is my new comfort youtuber I love his vids They’re so interesting and the background music is so calming and it just works! I like how Masaru tried to survive with little to no assistance and just in case, he had items on standby. This is a good experience for the normal person to witness as Masaru tries to survive with as little as possible. So far a lot of it relies on pure knowledge. This is informative, really interesting, and honestly the closest representation to a realistic survival situation.

His determination when it came to starting the fire was so inspiring

I’ve done the bamboo method successfully once before after 3-4 times trying. for me, the best way is to put the piece with the hole on the top (the one that moves) while the “blade” is fixed. you put the tinder on top of the hole and hold it in place using another piece of bamboo. this way I can use my body weight to give pressure and move bamboo. the movement is also more ergonomic this way. I also made the hole by cutting the bamboo preprndicularly, not by borring into it like he had done on the video, that way the “rubbing surfece” is bigger, making it more likely to catch

Masaru is an good example of not giving up, he will try over and over till he gets it, good work man!

When Masaru said he wanted to try big lizard (like komodo dragon), actually there is one big lizard you can try to eat; The monitor lizard. It kinda look like komodo dragon and it tastes like chicken meat.

This survival series made me remember my army days😄 the first time I had to sleep in the forest, I was horrified, when I laid my head on the ground to sleep, there were buzzing sounds coming out from the ground! Not from the flies in the air but the ground! My back hurts, didn’t have much strength, had heat rash and not enough water and food, my face was actually numb on the last day. But after experiencing it several times, you get used to it and till now, even though I’ve been through worst than my first day, the first time is still the worst imo.

子どもの時に感じていた、大好きなテレビ番組が始まる前のあのわくわくを思い出させてくれました。大人になってもこんなにわくわくできるなんてと、自分でも驚いています。これからも楽しい動画を期待しています。頑張ってください！
