Tbf you should never play competitive shooters on the switch, there’s really no point unless you’re getting on for goofs. The alternatives are just the way to play, better to just stick to games purpose built for the power of the Switch.

Now i can play apex at work, or at the doctors, mall, car dealer, barber, tennis court, train, plane, theatre, grocery store, at parties, football game, at the beach, local head shop, while driving, during coitus, while walking dog. Etc

Cross Play voice chat doesn't work lol I can deal with graphics and frame rate but I would like to chat with my friends on other platforms

The switch can’t keep up with other consoles on the crossover they tried but it didn’t work playing with switch players isn’t bad

as a sole switch player, this is the only way i can play apex (which i've been waiting for 2 years to get a port of) and i honestly dont think its that bad, or at least it doesnt make the game worth giving up unless you already play on another platformthe graphics might not be perfect, but its still playable. besides its free to play so its not like you wasted any money

I don't even mind the graphics, it's the horrible, unresponsive controls that make it unplayable, no matter how much I fiddle with ALC

The gameplay is uhh...lacking.

I shouldn't need to watch this video any higher than 480p

If they can bring it on the switch, then I wouldn't be too surprised to see a mobile version playable on some high-end phones in the future

On handheld, it feels like ur wearing Samus’ suit and looking through her vision. That’s one of my biggest gripes with this port.

Whenever I try to start a switch-only lobby, I only ever get 6 players in the queue.

Well I still enjoy it, and can still dock players with a rifle, all I care about.

It's pretty broken at the moment. That's to be expected with a live service game, though. The thing that got me was when I got two wins in a row but my stats didn't update with the second win. It just didn't record any of the damage or kills I got in the game. I'm still kinda mad about it but whatever.

It’s a blurry mess. I don’t even know which champion my enemies are choosing unless that use a skill. LMAO

Checked it out to see what it is was like on Switch. Not something I would spend any time on outside of that. It just isn't the same fun game with the poor visuals and performance. Wolfenstein, Doom 2016 and Eternal, Bulletstorm, Crysis, there are a lot better shooters available.

CAN WE APPRECIATE THE EFFORT OF ATLEAST BRINGING THE GAME TO SWITCH, other tripple A games should follow suit instead of avoiding switch altogether.. i wish i could get some of the games i play on steam and PlayStation in my office , without bringing all the set up

If all that visual quality given up allowed it to play at 60 fps I'd call it impressive. But it looks terrible and runs slow. Doesn't even maintain 30 fps. So not a good port. The switch continues to be a console only people with absolutely nothing else will actually play major 3rd party games on and crap even even id probably stream those games to my tablet before I'd play them on switch

Nintendo really needs to get rid of tye stiff sticks they've had since N64. Reasons no one buys nintendo for FPS anymore.

Played it 30 minutes. It sucks it runs horrible. It runs, but man.. the lag.. the textures...

What do you expect Im playing it and enjoying it so I don’t get your review expecting to much from a free to play game better than call of duty at day one .

Panic button ALWAYS patches their games with noticeable improvements the months after release, give it some months

I WISH I COULD OLAY AT SUB 25 FPS IN COMBAT!! Holy shit I just got out of a a row of matches and my fps had to have dropped as low as 15 or 10fps. How? I have a newer Switch and Im playing in docked mode! How??!?!
