With so much going on in global markets, I really miss your analysis of world economics besides crypto.

So I don’t have a great way to gain exposure to BTC but would you say GBTC is an okay way to get exposure via a stock account at least in the medium term? I assume it’s better than some crypto mining company or stuff like that but I’ve heard people shame GBTC as well so I’m a bit confused.

While appreciate the TA, I disagree based on the fact that the fundamentals have changed so much in the timeframes you’re analyzing. Chips are projected to be used in far more industries and products in coming years, whether it be consumer electronics, production, vehicles, AI, etc. I think there is still a fair amount of a run left in this sector.

Thanks for the great detail analysis as always. A long time looker, first time poster here. This is the most profitable portion of my investment. And your technical analysis gives me a little pause on buying more right now. I think the huge “physical demands” of semiconductor products are the one driving semiconductor stock’s price up. And it has no sign of ending anytime soon. Just need to be a little careful for now. Thanks again for a word of caution.

Look at the 5 year graph for XSD and tell me that’s a dangerous investment. Evenly weighted, it’s as consistent as it gets. Another reason for the growth is they’re used in Solar Energy. A lot of these semi companies will adapt to make semi’s for everything solar which may not be a reality right now but the way people invest in 2020-2021 is 99% based on rumors. So I think that space will continue to see steady growth this year and beyond.

TSMC putting 5nanometer processors with AMD ZEN 3 architecture late 2021 or q1 2022 is the final nail in Intels coffin and these stocks will surge immensively. also TSMS is skyrocketing and saying 3nm process is starting in 2022 with no one even near that so you cant go wrong whit this stock if you are investing long term
