I’ve watched a couple of your videos. You do fine work, but what you’re doing isn’t restoration. Restoration means to bring it back to original condition and making it look like new. What you’re doing is simply repairing and refinishing. Not the same thing.

I Restored This Junk Nintendo 64 (No Video, No Sound) Retro N64 Console Restoration

Definitivamente ese consola ha sido abierta antes porque tiene tornillos de cruz y originalmente la 64 viene de fabrica con tornillos especiales llamados gamebit xd

I swear that people that dislike your videos are jealous of your skill and dedication. You are giving new life to this stuff while most would toss it in the trash. These electronics can house new memories when they are given a new home. Who the hell would be against that ?

I’d not consider adding a missing fuse and replacing missing screws with hot glue as a “fix”, btw I enjoyed that moment when you try to power the console up with the power supply not connected to the console, nice stuff

You didn’t fix it, you botched it together. The disc drive itself is missing

Saddens me to see a console like that in such terrible condition, I grew up with a PS2 and I have many happy memories with it (excluding the startup and insert disc screen) luckily this unit has found a new hope

Your restorations are good, buy you lack in many things, like perfection. Would have expected those rusted screws to be replaced or Nickel plated, that base to be clear coated or nickel plated with yellowing. Try to watch my mechanics, meine restoration channel for inspiration. Thanks

I had one of those when I was a kid, almost forgot about it. Asked my mum to buy it from a mail order catalogue and paid it up 50p a week for 21 weeks I think it was. Man, I’m having a major nostalgia trip . 1978, I was only nine years old.
