I love how they always base their song titles off of legendary creatures/people or mythological things. Unico is actually based of the 1979 manga of the same name, which is about a cute unicorn bringing happiness to everyone, and the Gods trying to stop him from doing so as they feel like only Gods can manipulate the emotions of others. I think she represented the feeling of being genuinely happy. Not caring what other people think, just being free and doing as she pleased. It’s beautiful ❤️

When She was a collage student、She was the most famous always walking with dancing in campus. We could find her half mile distance with original move

From my observations, and If I am correct: Unico stands for Unicorn. And she plays around the juxtaposition of herself within the environment she is being filmed at. The contrast between herself (the “foreigner”, the “exotic”) in another “foreign” country (where everyones gaze is concentrated on her). She makes herself subject matter of the whole peace, she is the “rarity”, she is “non-native”, exotic – someone from faraway. She plays around connotations and denotations of stereotypes (who would do such crazy dance moves in public space, not to mention a foregin country). People constantly move out of her way, they stop and gaze at her: she is the personification of a unicorn, yet unicorn is her. Taking into consideration, that very first mentions of Unicorn where in Indus Valley Civilisation – the location where they decided to film this is superb too. chaeyoung brought me here and i never regret it. i like this song and it lifted my mood!

It took me a while but I finally got it. She’s saying: “Salud por la vida”, which means “Cheers to life”. As a Latin american, It’s nice to hear her including some Spanish in her music.
