Pewds saw Tati’s manipulation before the whole internet.

Pewdiepie does not get enough credit for being the first person to question this whole thing.

Imagine being James Charles back then, experiencing the worst time of your life and having no idea how you got to this point, and then you see that the biggest YouTuber on the site made a video about you too, and you’re dreading watching it just from the thumbnail alone, but you feel depressed and self-deprecating enough to watch it anyway… And then, unexpectedly, he takes your side.He doesn’t absolve you, but he speaks up in your defense.This person who has an insanely far reach and risks yet another controversy every time he says something even _remotely_ problematic still takes that risk to stand up against this drama.Imagine being James Charles, nearly suicidal at this point, and getting this kind of support from such an unexpected source. Not because anything can be gained from it, but just from a place of kindness and rationality.Imagine suddenly having that kind of lifeline to hold on to, when you were drowning in a downward spiral of confusion and negativity.
