다른 햄스터들과 다르게 훨씬 안정적이어보이네요.가끔 정신병이 있어보이는 애완동물들도 있는데, 저 상태가 굉장히 편안해보이고 분위기가 안정적이어보여요꼭 작은 동물에게도 자연스레 성취감을 챙겨주는 느낌…케이지에서 풍족하게 먹기만하는 삶이 아니라..

와.. 정말 햄스터가 자기만의 삶을 만들어내는 느낌이다..

It is weird to see the domestication of the hamster made it super reactive to people, like a pet but very bad at finding food easily. Wild hamsters still arent great hunters but they are much better then this. I bet a few generations living in this “wild” environment they would be better and less human dependent

Congratulations with your experiment! The beetles at 2.27 onwards are the adult form of the mealworm. I raise my worms as bird food & many will pupate and continue the life cycle by laying their eggs on food. Mine are fed on kitchen scraps like the ends of vegetables, dry bread crusts, the bottom of the cereal box XD While harmless, they are a huge problem for farmers if there is an outbreak in their storage barns. While there is food in the enclosure you will never get rid of them! XD o/

햄스터 랩님 덕분에 직접 키워보지 않고 좋은 영상을 얻네요. 햄스터가 눈빛이 살고 예전의 pause눌은거 마냥 멈추는 행동이 사라졌네요. 역시 동물도 풀어놓고 키워야 영리해지는거 같아요.

If you are interested in a hamster in a natural environment then you might also enjoy a channel called ‘George Mouse’ which are short videos about a colony of wild mice living in a MouseTown built for them in someones garden. Including little wooden houses, pumpkin houses, boots and the like. He brings them food, scavenged from in the wild with some shop bought fruits as well, provides bedding in the form of moss and feathers to keep them warm in winter and has securely fenced the area so that cats and other hunters can’t easily get in to catch them. If you enjoy watching Cotton in a semi natural environment then you will probably enjoy George, Mildred, family and friends in an even more natural environment.

설치류 애들이 견과류 씨앗들을 좋아하는줄알았는데 새싹도 좋아하는지는 처음알았음.

솜이는 정말 동물답게 사네요 물론 자연은 아니지만 주인님의 사랑이 느껴집니다

솜이는 하루종일 바쁘겠어요😊 어쩌면 인간보다 더 바쁠지도.. 하루종일 땅 냄새 맡으며 씨앗 먹으랴 새싹 먹으랴 땅도 파야하고 냄새도 맡아야하고 놀잇감 천지네요 코가 쉬질 않어ㅎㅎ

솜이는 절대 안 물어요라고 하실때 솜이는 반대로 이 사람은 절대 나에게 해를 가하지 않아요 라고 할것 같았 ㅎㅎ 사랑받는 솜이네요~

자막이 훨씬 더 보기 좋아졌네요! 오늘도 솜이는 너무 예뻐요😍 3개월 전과 지금 솜이의 차이는… 근육량…?!

Prairie dogs (who are probably related to hamsters) dig out roots, too. Roots are especially juicy. I guess it’s a way for them to eat and drink at the same time. I can’t help but think that mealworms are like fast food for hamsters. They are a high-protein treat and I don’t think it’s healthy to eat them all the time. Seeds and sprouts are probably healthier.

Very cute little hamster. I love watching him groom, eat and explore his surroundings.
