I can’t understand why he couldn’t marry who he loves. I’ve seen this in a lot of these dramas where they force others to marry who they don’t want and it never works out. The ending is so sad. The king lost too much. The queen knew that the king never loved her so what does she expect?
Omg poor emperor. He’s just had everything handed to him his whole life and now he has to pay the price in political marriage like every other royal. Everybody is blaming Mom but what happens if he backs out of marriage and starts a war with her kingdom because they are insulted? What about this girl who didn’t even have a choice either? He is just a spoiled selfish boy who never should have been emperor.
The soundtrack at the beginning, used in at least 50% of historical cdramas I’ve watched – what is it???
