This series is so relaxing lol. Just a suggestion that I think would be cool.. maybe add some captions throughout the video about what kind of birds visit and some of their behaviors!

I think they had discomfort entering the exiting the hole. Maybe the bird was trying to smoothen the edges of the hole.

This is fascinating. I’ve only just come across your channel and found it delightful. Please, I know nothing about… birding, bird watching? I don’t even know what it’s called. I found what I assume was an inspection, so interesting, it was almost like she was taking measurements and assessing the soundness of the structure. Is this usual behavior?Who does the majority of nest building? I thought that it was primarily the female but I see another bird, I’m assuming is her mate. How can I tell one from the other? Near the end of this clip, either he or she was pecking at the opening, were they trying to enlarge the hole?These are probably really stupid questions, so I hope you’ll forgive me. I was wondering if you’ve deliberately chosen to not incorporate the outside perch for this box? Is it something you purchased that way or is there a reason regarding the birds?(I was always taught that the perch helps to spot predators)Love this series btw, thanks for sharing it to us bird nerds 🥰🥰

Im not a animal expert or anything but i think the reason the bird is pecking the wood bird house because it needs to be stable enough as a foundation and also not break easily to predators but thats jusy what i think.
