Glad you enjoyed your stay here in Iloilo Tal! hope you get to catch up more on the culture here by heading up to the upcoming Dinagyang festival on the 26th-28th. lots of food, street parties, fireworks displays and merrymaking to take part in, and also don’t miss the chance to see the world-class display of the dances from the different Ati tribes taking part in the Ati Dance Tribe Competition. cheers!

You brought me home bro. Thank you for that. I am an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) and i am lucky enough to be able to go home every year but still, seeing my home town through your perspective feels pretty special. Hope i was there and tour you around my “City of Love”. Enjoy my home town hope you can explore more of it.

Batchoy… A Filipino comfort food. It fills a hungry belly and warms your soul, haha xD glad you finally had a taste of Mang Inasal 😁

I hope you can visit Iloilo again soon. I’m so happy watching this and thank you for appreciating our culture and place <3

Here in the U.S. but planning to possibly move to PI in the future with my family. Been there 4 times..fell in love. Great videos by the way..u need ur own show on tv immediately!

I miss my hometown! I’ve been salivating the entire time with the batchoy and chicken inasal. Thank you for taking me back through your vlog. Greetings from Denmark!

Wow, thank you so much for appreciating the culture of Iloilo and its history, and the whole Panay Island for that matter, for sure! It’s now the 20th of January here in the States, and you said you will be attending the Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo, Aklan, it should start about right now, today! It’s gonna be a whole week of fun and dancing in the streets, and revelries, to celebrate, the Sto. Nino (the Child Jesus!). I wish I was there too! 🙂

Looks like you had fun exploring my loves 🙂 I love how you share the history of the places you have visited. Meanwhile, 2 people have bad eyesight and tapped ‘dislike’ because they thought it is the ‘like’ button.

I suggest you visit Isla Gigantes for another sun-sea-sand adventure and Guimaras Island for its yummy mangoes 😊 (it’s got nice beaches, too). Btw, Cebu is celebrating Sinulog this Sunday. Too bad you had to leave before the festivities, so you should make up for it by joining the celebrations for the Ati-atihan in Aklan and/or Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo. Hope you have fun in the City of Love (another moniker for Iloilo City). Safe travel!

I’m glad you liked Iloilo, it’s a pretty chill place and for me it’s more quieter than manila even for being a city and i love it here, the people are nice too! More power to your channel and your vlogs dude

I love him so much he is so adorable! Lol I have really enjoyed these vids with he and Daphne!! I’m sure you guys are having a blast together!❤

He’s so sweet. He makes the best tour guide. 💜

Hi! Im from Jaro Iloilo. Thank you for touring everyone around Iloilo City. 👍👍👍I just want to correct you though, the dialect spoken in Iloilo is called HILIGAYNON. ILONGGO or ILONGGA is referring to the residents of Iloilo. Ilonggo is referring to a man and Ilongga is referring to a woman.THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR PLACE. 🙏

I am Iloilo, proud to be filipino!!!

Wish i have the honor to travel with you around Philippines. You’ve seen more places there than me. I’m so jealous with your travel adventures. Always take care my friend!

Vince seems to be a very nice person. Great job touring us around, Vince! And you too Tal

I hope you read my earlier explanation on lleismo vs. yeismo. LOL. Double LL in Filipino is pronounced the _original_ way. As in Old Spanish. The reason you think LL is pronounced like a Y is because you’re American and the Spanish you hear is mostly from Mexican Spanish. In Spain itself, LL was pronounced exactly like in the Philippines, like an LY. Though because of influence from Latin American Spanish, in recent decades, the LL is now pronounced like a “JY” or “ZHY”.So for Calle:Philippines and Old Spanish: KAL-YEMexico and most of Latin America: KA-YEMost of modern Spain: KA-JYEIt’s like the difference between American and British English. Though very few Filipinos speak Spanish nowadays (Americans replaced the language of instruction in schools from Spanish to English in the early 1900s), the old pronunciations are retained. That said, there are a few Filipino Spanish words that are influenced by Mexican pronunciation, from more recent migrants from Mexico in the 1800s. Words like “Kabayo” = Spanish Caballo; “Sibuyas” – Spanish Cebollas.

I’m from Iloilo and my husband has been wanting to make a tour video of Iloilo cause when he tells other people about it he’s so proud .. haha he wants to call it the royal city of Iloilo and i just sent him a screenshot that someone already made a video of Iloilo and beat him to it LOL

My mom is from Iloilo, I visit every year and it’s amazing that you enjoyed it, too!

Manhattan NYC Travel Guide: Everything you need to know

Manhattan NYC Travel Guide: Everything you need to know (c) TheTravelingClatt

(c) TheTravelingClatt Manhattan NYC Travel Guide: Everything you need to know, Today well give you the Ultimate guide on New York City’s largest …

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram! https://instagram.com/thetravelingclatt ♥️

As a fellow NYC Vlogger… I approve this guide 🙂 Awesome job, appreciate all the hustling you’ve done this winter, it’s inspired me as well.

Congrats on finishing this Manhattan guide, dude. *HUGE* undertaking

I lived in New York for over 30 years; I find this guide informative and well planned out. I have new places to visit. Thanks 👍

You really are so good at this. All the research and the work you’ve put into it is obvious. It’s fantastic. 👏🏻🙌🏻

I stayed in Harlem back in Feb 2019, and it was INCREDIBLE. I loved seeing everything that I could in five days. It was absolutely stunning. Getting to see, hear, and experience everything I could was absolutely incredible. Harlem was so much fun, and getting to experience Soul Food in Harlem was delicious!

It’s good to have a base plan when coming to New York, but the best experiences there happen when you travel away from the beaten path, and make spontaneous decisions. People miss out on so much when they only go to the tourist attractions, you have to really dig into Manhattan and get the most out of it.

I’ve been to NYC multiple times but never really had a clear schedule for just touristy sightseeing. Every time I go there is a fixed schedule because I’m a part of a big group, but always enjoy it! There is just so much things to do!

Your channels deserves so much more recognition! 🙂 I’m going to NYC June 9-15-and because of your videos, I’m even more excited!!! Kudos to you, your channel, and your success!!! 🙌🏾💚

Insane video man. Impressive how comprehensively you’ve covered the city! Big up!

As a devote follower of this series, I feel like I hit a milestone with you. Than you for all of this work and congrats!

I have seen a lot of your videos for the NYC travel guide, there are really good, I’ve done almost everything that you already did and I can tell this series is really helpful for first time visitors to NY or for regular visitor and I really like you are a Pixel 3 user. Congrats Bro, An Amazing Job

You mentioned the High Line as being a subway-like structure, however this is not the case. While it does resemble an elevated railway or subway extension, it was actually used to carry freight. What was similar to a subway were the elevated railways or els in Manhattan and Brooklyn which were sadly demolished throughout the twentieth century. These ran on 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 9th Aves. in Manhattan and Myrtle, Lexington, 5th/3rd Aves, and Fulton Street as well as across the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn (the last true el remaining in Brooklyn is the Broadway El’ where the “J”, “M”, and “Z” trains run; the rest are all extensions of subway lines). The High Line was originally an elevated freight viaduct for the New York Central Railroad as it would come from upstate and the Midwest to bring goods and meat to the Meatpacking District as well as Lower Manhattan. Originally, the west side was the most industrial area of New York, being situated along the Hudson River where ships could bring in foreign goods. As of 1847, Cornelius Vanderbilt’s New York Central Railroad first began to carry freight and passengers to a now obscure west side station at 30th Street and 11th Ave. Below 30th Street, the line went along 10th and 11th Aves. to West Street where it turned onto Canal Street into a freight terminal. Being that the tracks were on the streets themselves like trollies yet were carrying heavy rail, the situation on and around these streets became quite precarious as large steam trains had to be flagged through the streets by men on horseback known as 11th Ave. Cowboys. In addition, the railroad industry grew so much during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries that Vanderbilt was forced to create a new mainline over Park Ave. to accommodate the influx of passengers, hence the building of Grand Central Depot, Grand Central Station, and ultimately, Grand Central Terminal as it is known at present. However, this still left the issue of the freight railroad on the largely deteriorating west side. With trains still using the streets and the Irish mob based in Hell’s Kitchen robbing goods from trains in the yard, the city realised that the situation had to be changed. As a result, it was decided that the line north of 34th Street would be put in a trench between 10th and 11th Aves and that the line south of 34th street be elevated (ironically as the city had planned the demolition of elevated passenger train lines in the city around the same time). So forth in 1934, the High Line was completed. The area which you said was a subway station was actually a freight station for the train to unload goods which would be brought to the factory upstairs. While this operation had worked for the following two decades, the use of railroads had greatly decreased in the U.S. due to the advent of the automobile and the airplane. The line had been truncated at Gansevoort Street in 1960 and had then been completely abandoned in 1980. Recently, the City of New York had decided to turn the abandoned line into a public park as it stands today.

Really good video. Straight to the point and informative. Keep up the great world!

Loved the series ! Love NYC as well, makes us want to go back so bad! 🙌🏼

The vibes of this video is so chill. Love it! 🔥

Good stuff dude. Born and raised New Yorker here and still learned some new things about this city!

Amazing work! Tons of information, looking forward to the series

This guide is so good! I’m surprised it has such little views

I live in the Gramercy Park area. More calm than a lot of NYC. and lots of good restaurants. Mid-town — a free tour of the NY Public library on 42nd ( the one with the lions out front) is a must. The architecture and history are amazing.

*What makes Christmas in the Ph amazing is Filipinos and their Karaoke* ☺☺

I am sooo happy to see how you are enjoying the Philippines! I can totaly relate 🙂 I fell in love with the Philippines too and I honestly wish I could be there with you right now 🙂 Merry Christmas my friend 🙂

Nobody does Christmas like Filipinos. I’m sure you will have a great one. Enjoy! 😃

I am a new subscriber and let me tell you that you made people happy today and if that doesn’t explain what Christmas is about I don’t know what does. Happy Holidays to you !

Filipinos celebrate Christmas whatever their status in life with or without food on the table. What it makes special is the culture of giving respect to the elderly. If you notice some Filipinos when they see elderly they put their hands on the forehead. It called it “Mano” or “Bless”. During Christmas, all the kids going to the relatives or family friends or even to the neighborhood to “Mano or Bless”.

Hey Tal…you couldn’t have picked a better country to celebrate your first Christmas ever. Merry Christmas, my friend! Can’t beat Christmas in The Philippines! There is nothing like it in the world. Rich or poor you will always be welcomed! Oh how I miss Christmas in my homeland. Maligayang Pasko, everyone! Remember….when in The Philippines you are not a stranger….you are FAMILY!

Its an amazing experience when you’re a stranger to them yet it feels like you belong to the family.Merry Christmas y’all.

Hi TravelingClatt! I’ve seen a lot of travel vlogs done in the Philippines but never have I subscribed to any of them until I saw your video (Mall of Asia). There’s a certain rawness and sincerity on everything. From your reaction to interaction. Everything feels so genuine and straightforward. I wish to meet you while you’re in the country specially when in Manila to know how your curiosity of the Philippines started. Happy Holidays!

thank you for appreciating the Philippines.. I am amazed how you were able to explore and show the real happenings here especially on Christmas. Merry Christmas brother! Keep it up! 🙂

Hey bud.. You are the best in a long time for doing that and, experiencing Christmas on an area where “tourist” don’t,always go.. High five

Thank you Tal. This video really made me happy & wished I was back home celebrating the holidays with the rest of the family. We were always so happy whether it was fiesta time or not. There were always lots of jokes, laughter, respect & lots of love and I love that you were able to capture that in your vlog & shared it with the world. Thank you for being such a kind man with a genuine heart – I hope others can see and replicate it. Happy belated Hanukkah from a Filipino, follower of Yeshua Hamashiac. <3 Much love and shalom to you and everyone in the world <3

In the Philippines, one can be invited to a number of Christmas and New Year’s Day parties, from a minimum of five to more than a dozen, between the end of November to the first week of January. There are the 16 days of early morning Advent masses culminating in a family Christmas Eve Mass. Then midnight family dinner called Misa de Gallo or Noche Buena. On New Year’s Eve, the midnight mass is called Media Noche. Then the Feast of the Black Nazarene starts in January in Quiapo Church in Manila while the Ati-Atihan commences in Aklan at nearly the same time as the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo (provinces in Panay). Try your best to be there.

Thank you for your love to all the Filipino. Have a Happy Christmas buddy! Filipino will love you more than you’ll know. Thank you for this.

Philippines got the best xmas vibe in the whole world. I can assure u that.

My wife and I visited the area on vacation in Cedar Key last year. Something we’d suggest if one goes to Devil’s Den is to take a few hours to visit “Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens” right next door. It’s a gorgeous botanical garden. You actually pass the entrance drive to the Gardens on the way to DD.Have REALLY enjoyed your vids around the world !!

You never mentioned Rainbow river, which is only 20 miles south of devils den, where you can either go to the head spring or tubing down the river. Its crystal clear and absolutely beautiful.

Great video.. Covered everything that someone is looking forMost importantly the commentary wasn’t cringy and overall it was amusing to watch. Great travel guide bro!

this video made me want to go here even more, great job!

Great in depth review of everything you need to know. Will definately be making the trip now, any other type springs in south Florida area?

I need to get to Florida. It looks amazing. Another great video. Keep it up.

As a Florida’s who scuba dives I’m glad I’m found out about this place

This is something we want to do this summer! Great video!

Epic shots in there bro! Definitely on our bucklist now. Keep up the great work!

Out of curiosity, how long should I plan to spend in the park for only simple snorkels?

Thanks for sharing!!! I lived here in Florida. We are all curious about the water.

As you visit these places, provide commentary on access for those with physical disabilities, please.

I wanted to ask about gators??? Have you seen any, most springs have them but they usually stay in the river near the murky water. I would hate to run into one, lol.

Strange that you mentioned miami, Orlando, Gainesville and Tallahassee but not Tampa. The largest city nearby.

No such thing as a scuba license, PADI, or anyone else. It’s a scuba certification at various levels of training. There are no Scuba Police. Dive sites can require any level of certification but most of the springs just require open water, unless you are cave certified.

Do you need tour reserve a time slot for snorkling/diving?

Going for the first time next month. Excited!

Hey man! Greetings from Germany, great Video! Will be visiting Florida next year as our Honeymoon-trip! You mentioned “Rafting” in your Bonus content and I can’t find anything to “ichatucky springs” (if that’s written correctly?) or just didn’t understand it correctly.Could you give me a link or the correct spelling? I’d love to go there with my fianc!Best regardsLucas

Unique scuba diving spot!

I’ve been eyeing Devil’s Den for awhile. I am going for my birthday in June!
