this vid was released 2 years ago and yet, up until now, we can still all agree that this one of the best choreographies in kpop industry

So here’s the thing. I’m technically not a fan of Seventeen (I said technically because in practice EVERYONE’s a Seventeen fan) and I’ve liked a lot of kpop male groups who are awesome at dancing (NCT, Got7, BTS, Pentagon, Exo, SPEED, Blanc7, Stray Kids and SF9 to name a few). I’d like to call myself an experienced fan with how many groups I’ve followed in my lifetime, and these days I’m like 100% loyal and unwavering Monbebe so it isn’t like I could call myself biased. So I want to emphasize that when I say THERE IS NO KPOP GROUP WHO IS AS GOOD AS DANCING AS SEVENTEEN IS. There isn’t. Point blank. Period. There is no denying it, no one is like this group when it comes to dancing skills, synchronization and energetic, impossibly hard choreographs. We’ve gotta face the facts. They should win all the prizes and awards that are ever given to dancers, and that’s just how it should go. Hands down.

This song is such a masterpiece. I love how seventeen prioritizes conveying the message of their every song in their choreographies. Like what hoshi said, “witty and sense”

Can we talk a minute about Woozi here? Most of the fandom praises Seventeen for their choreography and synchronization and good looks. We listen to the songs and think, “wow this one is really catchy”, but some of us don’t realize that one person did almost every single song and not just the lyrics, but creating the song from scratch. The music you hear through your ears was made by one person sitting in a room with musical instruments trying to create a song that will be a hit so their group will not fail and so that everyone will be happy. The whole fate of the group relies on their shoulders. Sure, the choreography is really hard to create and I’m not putting Hoshi down in any way because RESPECT. But really the most important thing is the song, if the song is unsuccessful then the whole group goes down. Nobody will want to watch a MUSIC video is the MUSIC isn’t catchy or meaningful. One person does all of that. One person has all of the pressure to keep the whole group up on their shoulders. That person is probably the strongest (emotionally) in the whole group of Seventeen. That person is my bias Woozi.

Here’s my take on their traumas. Vernon – I feel like his trauma is about being an outsider. His lines indicate how he seeks for belongingness especially when he mentioned that “he dropped in 8th grade” so he got no friends considering that he is also a foreigner. Even so, he still longs to have someone by his side but he got no one. S. Coups – Personally, I’m guessing that he is talking about the pressure to do well on stage because many people is expecting a lot from him especially he is the leader. Mentioning how he thinks about the “debt”, I don’t think he talks about the “physical debt” but instead, how he wants to repay the attention, love and effort that he gets. Wonwoo – I think his trauma is about getting lost about your purpose in life. Just going in circles. I mean it’s really tiring to get through the day without something that excites you to keep on going. Thus, the mental fatigue that he talks about.
