It feels weird to say considering the type of game Omori is, but watching Calli play this game is very sweet and wholesome. The way she constantly gushes over the characters is super cute in particular

This game is definitely a game best experienced first hand. I hope some of the people who watched this stream will go play the game themselves. I’m also glad this game is getting more attention, it definitely deserves it.

I just noticed that whenever Calli raises her voice, she uses the last word in her sentences as emphatic punctuation. And whenever she speaks quietly, she fades out on the last word instead. It’s a very cute way of speaking.

I always felt that the point of Lord Farquad’s design was to highlight that he was always trying to be something he wasn’t. Throughout the movie he himself constantly tries to appear taller through various means to both literally and figuratively “elevate” himself above everyone else as superior. Like Shrek, Farquad incorrectly believed something about himself was wrong and needed to be changed in order to be worth accepting, but unlike Farquaad, Shrek learns to accept and own who he is. People will always find ways to put you down and both of them are looked down on because of who they appear to be. But you shouldn’t decide who you are and how you should act based solely on what other people think. It’s the quality of Shrek and Farquaads character that really separates them and how they are treated. Thanks for the watchalong, I had a wonderful time!

Watching the ‘Holding Out for a Hero’ scene from Shrek 2 with 7.5K KFBeats was one of the most hype livestream moments I have ever been apart of. These watch-a-longs have been cemented as one of my favorite stream types after this.
