Right from his ‘magical’ qualifying lap to his awareness to back off when Grosjean & Sirotkin were battling it out while still defending Verstappen all along. Absolute masterclass!As for Sebastian Vettel, this has been a forgettable season thanks to Ferrari’s failed strategies and his own tendency to crack under pressure.If this continues, next year should be worse since he’ll have an added pressure of racing alongside a young-blood-desperate-to-prove-his-worth : Leclerc!

Perez should get penalty for the first incident with Ocon, and then he should be black flagged after hitting Sirotkin on purpose. FIA does not have balls.

I have been watching Lewis since his days in McLaren. Lewis has been on different level this year with Ferrari on his sight. His timing to defend and attack are impeccable. He is fiery ice cold at the level that he hasn’t been in. Yes, he’s got a great car and awesome race team, but to be able to put it together like that at qualifying was WOW.

“They are racing” has got to be one of my favourite radio calls of the season

When Hamilton put that lap down I had to get up and look at the TV to make sure I was seeing what I saw. That was freaking amazing!

Say what you want but this was a very well deserved WDC for Hamilton.

I’m a Lewis fan but I have to admit that Max’s last lap was breathtaking.

One corner too much.. Can’t wait to see how the race goes later!

Everyone knew it is going to be close but still Max’s last lap managed to generate so much tension and excitement. Hats off to his skills, for sure he is future world champion

The most intense last 5 mins of the qualifying of the whole season I can say…It was super exciting to see Max staying committed & pushing his car to the limit. Sad he could not complete that lap.!! I actually loved Toto’s reaction when Max crashed, he knew he was seeing something special..Well all said & done, its going to be a nail biting race on Sunday..cheers

Max’s last lap was intense. Sad to see him hit the wall, but P3 is not a bad position to start in for tomorrow.

Verstappen is so fearless. The way he was pushing his car to the limit and almost tried not to hit the barrier is something to watch. Unreal

This qualifying is the most INTENSE qualifying for me. Feeling absolutely gutted for Max, he really pushed to the limit in that last lap

A modern F1 car dancing on the limit on such a narrow track with almost no margin for error and therefore putting immense wear on the tyre, yeah I am happy to be able to see this. I don’t care about the result as he wasn’t able to complete the lap. I am satisfied with this all or nothing approach.

So awesome to see Micks reaction to getting in to Q2, Hopefully he gets a chance to show his skills properly next season.

You cannot overlook Alonso’s skill this past season. He might not be getting pole or finishing in the top three, but his driving has been phenomenal! There’s no denying his experience and his skill on the track. He’s consistently performing to such a high standard and taking corners like it’s nobody’s business. It’s such a shame that week in and week out his age is made the main topic of conversation whenever he’s mentioned in the commentary box. I know that for the sport he’s getting old, but then again, Hamilton is only 4 years behind him in age… Anyway, he was incredible today and would love to see him in a competitive car despite what people say about his age.

Massive props to Schumacher for his Q2 performance. I genuinely think he could’ve done better than P14 if he hadn’t been forced to stop from the Stroll incident.
