On of the greatest Lewis’s driving performances ever It was amazing how, after all those penalties, he made it to win the Brazilian grand prix. Before the race i had a feeling that Hamilton will offer to all the formula1 fans an incredible race, and he done it. The overtake on Max was EPIC.The championship again is on and Lewis is here to show that not only the car makes the difference but and the driver and what driver, the seven times world champion.Let’s see what will happen to the next race.

By far the best race this season… What a drive from hamilton. He really showed why he’s the 7 time champion.

This is probably the best race I’ve seen in a while, Hamilton really showing off on this race, Verstappen also doing incredibly well for holding him on for 40 whole laps.

Did he say, Hamilton was in 10 PLACE? And finished 1st? There should no doubt that Hamilton is the greatest F1 Driver.. WOW!!

My heart was beating, my hands were shaking, I cannot even began to imagine what both drivers were feeling today

Don’t mind me, I’m just here to watch this final lap for the 50th time this week

Nail biting finish, unbelievable, this is going to be memorable. However huge respect for David Croft (commentator) – he was spot on and he should get an award as well…

I can’t believe how great of a season this was.

I still cannot believe that this actually happened. This entire season sounds like a movie to me, especially after seeing 7 years of Hamilton and Mercedes dominance. Last time I yelled this much was in Spain 2016 when Rosberg and Hamilton crashed into eachother and Verstappen won.

Insane… once in a lifetime

For those who haven’t watched the race and/or are new to F1, here’s a quick summary of the scene :)Apart from the drama earlier in the race, it was Hamilton leading the race by an 11 second gap with only 5 laps remaining. Verstappen winning was almost unthinkable at that point. Then, with just those 5 laps to go, a driver in the back (Latifi) crashed on track which leads to a so called ‘safety car’. This car drives on the track to guide all racers safely past the damaged car and debris as long as the hazard is there. The interesting thing about that is that a safety car drive significantly slower than the F1 cars, which allows everyone on the field to catch up to each other but no overtaking. This allowed Verstappen to close the gap to Hamilton entirely while also (thanks to Red Bull paying close attention) making a quick pit stop for fresh and fast tyres. Hamilton did not make a stop because doing so (it costs time to do a pitstop) could have made him end up behind Verstappen and Mercedes didn’t want him to. The last bit of drama was the fact that there were still a few cars in the back of the field lapped by Hamilton in between Hamilton and Verstappen. Normally these cars would be allowed to drive all the way around back to the end of the field and only after that will the safety car leave the track again. Because the race was already in the final 2 or 3 laps at this point, race control decided they would not wait any longer and made the safety car leave a little prematurely so there could still be one final lap of title-deciding racing, which led to this epic scene.

I think a very ignored fact is just how close this last lap was. Max didn’t just sail past and drive off into the distance. It was a very intense and hard fought lap. Regardless of how the restart took place, red bull also needed to do the right pit stop at the right time and max had to absolutely deliver and overtake the 7 time world champion in a single lap which he somehow did. I can honestly understand why some people were upset but I don’t think you can downplay red bulls achievement this year.

I will never forget this, I was going insane back home, what a lap.

I love how Ricciardo is trying to catch up to see how they battle it out.

The emotion this lap gave. My family, the whole room was jumping, screaming, crying 😭 Max was brillian this season and we were rooting for him and just when it seemed all hope is lost this lap happened. It was crazy

I think this is the most dramatic, emotional and amazing moment in sport I’ve witnessed since 2018 Libertadores semifinal Gremio vs River Plate and final River Plate vs Boca Juniors (both matches fought to the very end, and both won in the very end by River Plate). Winning the championship at the last race and last lap and loosing it at the last race and last lap, Lewis has now seen it both. Great sportsman, he matured so much over the years and took second place like a real champion. Driver of his generation and Im pretty sure in some years you will have young drivers the were inspired by him just like he and Vettel were inspired by Michael Schmuchacher. I also love how this historic lap will make Toto a living meme that no one will ever forget xD

The thing about this race is that is so poetic in that it mirrors Checo’s career itself. He started with big promises and big podiums in 2012, went to a big team but after that he fell hard from the top and has ever since 2014 slowly climbing back step by step to a big team where he can do great stuff. The comeback king!

Who else is here after checo’s win at Azerbaijan GP? What a race it was 🙋‍♂️

This race was epic. The underlying fact that Checo was out of contract and this race could have been his last in his career makes everything so connecting and emotional. He gave his blood and sweat that night and the Fortune favoured the Brave. What a champion Perez is! A race to remember for ages to come.

Plot twist:Sainz deliberately Punctured his tyres to get a feel of next year’s Ferrari.

The image at 6:26 is so iconic and defining of this time in F1. Mercedes/Louis domination – winning the race with a blown tire due to being 30+ seconds in the lead. A smoking Merc way ahead on the straight with a perfectly functioning Red Bull not able to catch it. It’s annoying to watch sometimes now but looking back on this era of Merc domination will be amazing.

I can’t imagine how much nervouses has hamilton had at the end… it was so spectacular…

Lewis Hamilton has done it all! he now holds the record for the most grand prix wins with 95, surpassing Michael Schumacher’s previous record of 91 wins, he’s also tied with the most f1 drivers titles with 7! man lucky Lewis you are a Legend!
