I noticed there are some meaningless debate about “she’s got a team” or “her cameraman blahblah whatsoever” going on in the comment zone. When Li Ziqi entered public vision in China with her all-self-done works, the same BS appeared too. Netizens quarreled and shouted so aggressively that Li Ziqi had to publish a very long blog plus unedited raw video source to demonstrate her DIY process of making a video. In the raw video, she cut several times just to get an ideal frame of what she’s doing. She has to run to her phone (not a camera) and tap stop, adjust angle and tap start button again. If you don’t believe me, just go to her Sina Weibo to browse her stories. I believe that entry is still there. After she’s been famous, an investor reached out to her, willing to provide her with technical support. But Li Ziqi refused him at the first time, fearing that the involvement of investment would alter her shooting style and mix some unwanted commercial elements into her works. The man did not give up and had a conversation with Ziqi. He said that if she could hire one cameraman, the idea of graphic composition is still hers, the angle of your camera still under her control, nobody would interfere in her video shooting style and she can save a lot of time into shooting more of her videos. I guess this mister’s genuineness moved Ziqi, she finally accepted his advice and you all know the story that comes after. She hired a cameraman, an assistant, and that, is, ALL. She still does the labor work, handcraft work, farming work by herself. If you must say she has a team supporting her. Alright, she has a team indeed. A team which consist of Li Ziqi herself, a cameraman, an assistant and Ziqi’s grandmother. I know some of your guys want to prove that she is a “FAKE” by bringing up this “team BS” once and once again. Slender as she is is definitely not able to do all those work and master those skills. But, sorry, she can. Just look at her chapped handskin and her clearly visible upper arm muscle. That’s the very evidence of working on the land. WHY DON’T PEOPLE FOCUS ON THE BEAUTY THAT HER VIDEOS TRY TO BRING US? WHY THESE MEANINGLESS MOUTHWATER FIGHT? Is it that hard to admit that someone is talented and versatile? I get zero benefit for defending her. I just feel sorry for her.

Once upon a time, there lived a princess named 李子柒 Liziqi. She lived with her grandmother in a village located in south west china. She had three puppies, a lamb, a cow and three geese. She also had her own eden garden full of fruits and vegetables. Everyone who watched her videos envied her. Some evil people became so jealous of her that they even pressed the dislike button on her YouTube channel. But princess 李子柒 Liziqi had more admirers than ever and she became famous throughout the world.

She is a role model to all of us. She works so hard and in the end her work is amazing. She’s good at everything!

People have become too materialistic in their lives that they don’t believe the mundane things in life can be performed in an efficiently beautiful manner. The small town where my parents brought me up made me learn how to do household chores and other activities we loved to do as a family like tending to a kitchen garden, raising poultry, grinding grain, fishing, helping dad to upgrade our house, helping mom in the kitchen, etc. Our favourite pastime used to be chasing dragonflies, flying kites, playing sports, climbing trees and many others which was before mobile phones were invented. We were self sufficient then, with both parents having paid jobs but we chose to do work by ourselves, everyone played a major role in the household. Today, I live in another beautiful hill station of another state, pursuing my work which has a completely different vibe from the place where I lived. I love my job and the place but I have limited time for all my passions.And Liziqi is living both my two lives together, the life that I had at home and the beautiful hill station that I am currently living in. I think everyone who had a humble background might relate to her routine instead of framing her. I do a bit of videography myself, so I understand she started solo, she have to run back and forth to capture the moment that is already captured in her mind and she feared that someone else might not capture the same moment as she imagined it to be. Because she wants to deliver us the exact same beauty of the place that she sees everyday. That’s how I feel when I let someone else to be behind the lens under my specifications. But I am happy now she has a team, and she can save time for doing her work spontaneously. And they are doing great. Simply, I love her for existing and reminding me atleast someone else in the world is living my two lives together.

Yes it looks peaceful and relaxing but in real life it would actually be extremely sunny. The photographer made it like this so it looks refreshing but in reality she would have been walking in harsh sunlight. That’s how hard she works.
