受け身が美しく、日本の和を魅せてくれますね。呼吸法も柔道と相変わらずのテクニック呼吸法も合気道独特。試合等では表現出来ない無の有り様を感じさせます。

This is the best Aikido documentary I have seen.

Aikikai Aikido souldn’t be considered as a ryuha (school or style) but as a mere association. Actually there are many ryuha within Aikikai, but it’s just an “unsaid” reality since Aikikai keeps pretending to be a ryuha. So you will see many “Juku” within Aikikai or many different senseis teaching everyone his own Aikido style. The one in this video is just one style within Aikikai but there are others wich may be completely different.

This made me really wanna learn aikido, the movements just seem so nice and fluid in comparison to any other martial art I have ever seen. Everything about it just seems so happy, tranquil, and the movements area really beautiful.

It annoys me how there is so many cool martial arts out there. If I was Highlander, I would learn them all.

行雄さんが格闘技経験ない立場で痛さを説明してくれるのでとてもわかりやすいです

白川先生は他の武道にも精通していて、身体の使い方が凄く柔らかいよな。きっと何をやらしても一流になるんでしょうね。

I have used both of the techniques shown against people in real fights on multiple occaisions because of my work. I have found that rokkyo works well against people actively attacking with their energy coming towards you, while sankyo is best for people trying to evade or escape you so the energy is either moving away or around you.I worked as security in a large hospital that accepted psychiatric patients as well as the normal danger of the emergency department, so had many times when I had to use Aikido for real. Sankyo and rokkyo were very useful.

そうなのですこういう技もあり肘が粉砕される技もあり合気道では試合ができないのであります。試合で熱くなってる時にこの技をかけたら加減できなくて相手の腕が粉砕します！で、もし試合となったらこういう技をくらいたくないのでお互いに手を出さずに組み合わずになるので試合が成立しないのであります…
