I’d love to see these finished with a handle. They’re beautiful.

Love this man, looks great! Also appreciate the way you moved the pattern along the edge steel, true talent

I love your videos… Beautiful work of art!!! Im wondering how the damask steel knives you made hold up to edge retention tests? Are they ever compared with known high quality knife steels?keep up the good work

Beautiful! Nice work and was a pleasure to see the blade in the making. What kind of handle material would go good with those blades?

Absolutely beautiful work Brother, that’s pure craftsmanship !

Another amazing piece of art!

I love the giant stone grinding wheel in this one. Looks like something the executioner would grind his axe with

@shurap voce poderia fazer um vdeo narrado descrevendo as etapas, comentando sobre as tecnicas e materiais usados em cada uma?

Ооооочень красиво!

I love how he just wipes red hot metal off the anvil with his hand.

At first I’m like “damn, the weld came apart, poor guy wasted all that time”. Then it quickly changed to “yeah he knows a lot more than me”.

That is probably the coolest blade I’ve ever seen.

I dont know anything about blades and what goes in them but this was so satisfying to watch. No loud music or talk just a pleasure to watch.

They really did just use a drill press to whisk tea.

You kind of blew my mind when you revealed that the delamination was intentional.

My favorite part is when he sprinkles on the breadcrumbs.

Slavic people never fail to impress on new levels of badassery.

Of all of the blades I have ever seen you bring into the world, THIS is the one that I would cherish over all others! You have created something of an almost infinite beauty!

So far this blade is my favorite. Such a unique pattern but you can clearly see the wire on the tang and spine, plus, the ridged shape. It’s beautiful!

I love the effect of the cable being buried under the top layer, which looks like cell structures, I’ve never seen that before.

Most definitely my favorite one you have made yet, love the size and the look. Superb

Who needs a KitchenAid when you’ve got a whisk and a drill press? That might have been the manliest thing I’ve seen all year!

Your work belongs in an art museum! Just gorgeous!

Love it! Beautiful blade. I would love to see the handle made as well.

another metallic masterpiece really nice work Dmitry thank you for sharing your work with us , a really big fan from Canada

Это просто песня! Очень красиво, аж дух захватывает.

Beautiful work, incredible production. 10/10, would watch again.

Wow that blade looks great. Im so glad you kept the wavey texture. Looks amazing.

I always find myself in awe of your work my friend! That is a beautiful tool! I personally couldn’t use it as a chisel. It would hang on my wall as art! Great video, Dmitry!

A site in English would likely take your customer base to new heights. Americans love Damascus steel blades and they love spending money on custom work 😉

You are the best.

Always impressive! Very consistent work! My decades of experience simply falls short.

What an amazingly artistic man! Watching you work your magic, especially using Damascus steel, is mesmerizing. I’ve watched many of your videos and your work is brilliant. Obtaining a piece of your work is on my bucket list.

The creativity and craftmanship is the one thing. Then there’s the odd compendium of obscure rotating grinding tools that can make any safety sally suffer an aneurysm. I like both, because even the diy touch on the tools shows creativity.

A beautiful knife, made by a highly skilled craftsmen, thanks for sharing your hard work!

I would love to see your videos with the knives finished with the handles. Some nice ebony, birdseye maple, walnut etc

Awesome work! Thanks for explaining the flux. I know nothing about forge welding and was wondering what that was and the purpose for it.

Impressive knife, I would love to see the stats on the strenght, flexability, and hardness compared to other knives.

THANK you, someone realizes you are suppsoed to taper before you harden/temper. If I could afford a knife like this I’d buy from you.

I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I think that’s probably one of the best patterns yet.

Beautiful blade. I knew the pattern would be cool. Love your work. I knife like that would have a place in my collection. Thank you for showing it being made.

I love the fact that the tool rest on the grinder (on the other end of the surface grinder) from 6:00-6:20 appears to be a quite substantial engine valve. Creative and practical!

Good work. Just amazed how you get all those wires to bond with no imperfections or inclusions.

Your knives are a work of art!!!

Another great blade. I like watching your technique. Thanks for the video.

You are one of the inspirations for me to start exploring blade making. I hope that one day I can make as beautiful knives as you do.

it’s insane how much skill and effort goes into making something we take for granted.

Just stumbling upon this video now, pretty cool etch on that one, almost looks like crocodile leather in a way. Very cool work my dude, you’re killing it

I appreciate the fact that you explained your rations with flux and the other tricks because I am just starting out and this is going to help me a lot. Thank you very much.
