AN IDEA FOR A MILLION!! You have to repeat it

I made a cordless version a few years back, very handy tool
Good idea mash’Allah
(1): An exceedingly noisy Angle Grinder is the very last thing I’d use for a drum sander. (2): It doesn’t oscillate. So you’re utilizing only a small portion of the sanding drum.(3): The inline switch you used looks like something rated for a low current device like a desk lamp or little fan. The surge from that Angle Grinder is going to fry it in a relatively short time.
Genial! Tenhe todos recursos 🙏🙏😃😃… Mui bom
He could just put sandpaper around the hole saw and mount it in the drill press and had a drum sander.
Genial 👍!
Nice project and keeping the loud grinder quiet in a box is worth making it.

Brilliant idea!! Don’t throw away a broken sander

How strange that all the screws on that angle grinder are left hand thread!
theres 8 minutes of my life…gone!
And all the time I wanted to know what he was going to do with four spinning router bits. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
Abrazo grande!!!!
Geiles Video 🤗👍
Kreatif dan menyenangkan….
Two things. Why do we have to endure your rock concert? you would be more impressive if you ran the video forward.
Where does the broken sander come in? All I see is a broken angle grinder.
Or you could just buy a $20 bench grinder!!!!
Goood yard😊
Brilliant .❤️🤝
well done bro
nice!
Everything is genius and simple! But no one does

Sometimes you have to put on the finisher before finishing.Love the concept, thanks for sharing!
Short cuts are best made using a sled. Or Fast Cap’s 10 million dollar stick (costs 18 bucks) if you are in a hurry. The important thing is to place the cut against some kind of fence.
Machine shop customer: “How much will it cost to make this piece round?”Machinist: “How round do you want it?”
Good idea and seems to work Well. Don t you think it would be possible to have different diameters with th same saw lments putting them in a kind of trapezoid ?
Well hot damn… I didn’t know exactly what he was doing until he actually did it finally… nice work
This is the guy who makes left-handed umbrellas!Next week: buy and repair an old nuclear power plant to make a charger for your phone!
A fantastic example of when being smart would have been better than being clever.
I worked in machine shops for 45 years.Don’t wear gloves when operating drills and saws, or other spinning machinery. Good way to mangle a hand.
Video and idea isn’t that bad. If it works for you and simple enough could get someone out of a pinch sometime using this idea. I’d find a way to make it adjustable so you can mill different sizes. Plus, I bet you have plenty of scrap laying around. If you use enough just a couple of minutes saves a trip to the store and around 3-5$ each. That’s a win win
Or you can go get a plug “dowel” cutter set at Harbor Freight or Lowe’s for under $5. Cut all the dowels you want and in different sizes.
It’s amazing how much time and money someone will spend to make something worthless.
I’m sure you can make the groove for the blades on the table saw. A lot less sketchy. As for me I’m off to buy dowel rods.
This is the answer I’m looking for, I have acquired a bed frame with a broken middle support leg which is a square post with the top rounded to fit in a hole in the bed base, you cannot buy half round half square posts so this is the missing answer to a question no one asked 😅
Oh my god. I want those 8 minutes back.
Nowhere did Eugene state he was making a dowel. This project was to make a specific “grain” of sawdust (@7:10). The by product just happened to be a perfect dowel. He discovered that @7:32 and said, “What the heck? I’ll just sand this waste wood and keep it. It looks just like a dowel!”. 😉
GENIUS. Yes, HD had cheap dowels but when I have a ton of scrap wood and am trying to make log house bird houses for the church bazaar, it has to be cheap.
Jeebus Rice! Rather than doing all that work “straightening” a dull hole saw blade, why didn’t you just buy a couple of “sharp” sawsall blades! Plus you could put the blades in a “V” shape and have more holes for different size dowels. Duh.
Igual vale.
I would rather: buy a lathe, buy the right size dowel, or do without. One of those “Sledgehammer to crack a nut” ideas.
Brilliant idea!! I’ve been wanting to do this idea for a long time

Parabéns 👏👏 muito legal 👍👍👍👏👏
Outstanding build, thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
it looks better as a door, than a game
excelente amigo? Pero las medidas ?
Really nice 👍 and you remind me when I was young thanks 🙏
Para que sirve eso ?
I’ll never understand why instructional vids insist on playing music instead of talking about the project and giving instructions!!!!!
Few people know the hidden function of the drill!!!
(c) DIY just do My friends, my name is Eugene! I’m the author of the channel. lots of ideas. I’m putting everything I’ve done with my hand on this channel. Creative Ideas, useful …
Saludos.
You should NEVER use a router bit in a drill. The bearings and rotor of a drill are designed for axial loads, not radial loads. These radial forces will wear out the bearings in no time and you lose precision in your drill forever.
I guess this would work in a pinch, but not very well. Didn’t make a very nice bevel. And, like someone else said, a drill isn’t designed to work like that, with the load on the side. The chuck is too far from the motor, then you have the added length of the bit. That will put a lot of side load on the drill, and start to deform it and cause a wobble.
A set of auxiliary tracks for activities can be made on both sides
Obviously the video was post flipped or reversed. Every nut he “tightened up” was counterclockwise instead of clockwise. Drills just don’t turn fast enough to utilize true router bits… Drills turn about 300 to maybe a 1000 RPMS, routers turn 15,000 to 20,000 RPMs . JMHO
Ingenious design. However, I’ll just use my router. It was designed for this purpose and is far more accurate.
This is not only total crap but also dangerous. 1. A drill is not designed to resist lateral forces. 2. A router typically needs 20.000-30.000 rpm, a drill is way slower. 3. the jig will not allow a 90 adjustment what is needed for precise results. 4. abusing a machine may cause serious injuries.
Muito legal, parabns!!!
A lot of people can buy this in a lot of stores. You have revealed the secret of the Polichinel.
Twoje “to coś” udaje frezarkę, która kręcI wrzecionem z prędkością 30 tys. obr/min. Wiertarki wysokoobrotwe, to max 5 tys. obr/min. Już widzę, tą oszałamiającą jakość frezowanej krawędzi… 😁
Very good! What does your drill appear to rotate in reverse? Is that a strobe effect of the frame rate?
Wow! You’ve wasted a day to produce an even sh*ttier router than I’ve ever thrown away. Not only that, you’ve enabled the destruction of the nose bearing in your crummy drill even faster than before!FYI, everyone already knows the hidden function of a drill is a hammer.
