EXPLORING VILNIUS, LITHUANIA | Is It Worth Visiting?

EXPLORING VILNIUS, LITHUANIA | Is It Worth Visiting? (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler Exploring the city of Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. Check out “Following My Thumb”, Gabriel’s book of adventure travel stories: …

The hostel I showed in the video is the B&B&B&B&B Hostel. I recommend reserving it online using this website: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899 Or you can use that site to search for other hotels, apartments, hostels, etc.

Gabriel, super awesome you managed to make it out to Vilnius, good stuff! I really wish the weather was a little better during your time there, everything looks so gray now 🙈 I hope that it’ll be better next time you come around and that I’ll be able to take you to a few of my fav spots.

I was there in August and I was really shocked how different this totally gorgeous city looks in winter! Vilnius is super cheap if you stay away from tourist traps as the one I am afraid you ate in, very friendly people, very lively atmosphere especially at night without the huge tourist crowds. Already missing Vilnius <3 and the Lithuanian hospitality!

Much love and respect to our brother nation Lietuva from Sakartvelo (Georgia).🇬🇪❤🇱🇹

Such a gorgeous, laid back historical city with nice people.

Even though it’s cold, Vilnius looks like it has lots of beautiful buildings and character. I bet it’s lovely in warmer weather. I’ve really enjoyed your stops in some of these less-visited places on this trip.

I visited Vilnius in December for 4 days, really loved the city. The atmosphere with all the Christmas lights and trees was really pleasant. It was cold, I think it averaged about 0 degrees C most days, but it wasn’t too bad at all. I stayed in an AirBnB – newly refurbed studio apartment in the old town, cost ~150 for 4 nights.

Loving your recent videos in the not so often visited places in Europe. Thanks Gabriel!

After watching this, I totally want to go there. Solid into, love the grocery store footage, cool hostel, charming city, clock tower, neat restaurant. Love all of it. Thanks for putting this place on my radar. I’ll bring my crampons.

Looks like a really lovely city, but also looks really dark, cold, and wet this time of year. I bet it’s super pretty and busy in summertime! I chuckled at the amusingly-placed lampshade and venison balls at the resto! 😆 👍🏼✌🏼

Looks like a beautiful city with a bit of a (Gothic maybe?) flair, which makes it a must in my books. Even if small and slightly off the beaten path. 🙂

It is deffinately beautiful all year round, but you have to see the true Lithuania and that is in summer, whole another different spirit all around the Vilnius. And Vilnius is beautiful when theres a lot of snow, sadly the weather in this video is very bad from the perspective of a tourist.

Literally the best travel channel I know !! You inspired me to start my own travel channel here in Japan man !! Wish me luck

Vilnius is looking great! Nice and cozy in the cold. I went to that same Etno Dvaras restaurant a few years ago. I remember the food was amazing there.

So happy you liked Lithuania, my home country! Vilnius is really beautiful European city 🙂

Gabriel you are An Incredible Traveler, clearly visible it makes you happy. Congratulations on making passion as profession, not all are Blessed the same way… seen your journey from 50k till date… really inspirational… always looking forward to your next Vlog. Hopefully will get a chance to share a beer with you sometime in future… cheers… keep rocking the same way …

Hello Gabriel, I am Violeta, from Lithuania. It’s always nice to see people who are coming to visit us. But you know, if you really want to taste our culture, i suggest to come here in summer. We, as baltic people, have our own traditional events, like RASOS. If you will be in Vilnius near summer, go to Verkių parkas, and you will see and feel where our roots came from. I also recommend you to go to some festivals, like Mėnuo Juodaragis (which is one of my favorite) or Yaga. I think our, lithuanian culture, is more about the connection, about community, than only about the places itself. So good luck, if you need a guide, for the next time – write me down, I will help you as much as I can :)))

Love it Gabriel 😊❤ love all the buildings! Beautiful city! Stay warm and safe! 😊❤

I admire your choice of winter destinations considering the rather harsh temperatures it implies ☃️… The view from the belltower was definitely worth the climbing, well done !

Thank u for braving the cold to go out and show us this amazing places. Worth it every bit of it😀

One Day in CABO SAN LUCAS | Tourist Heaven or Hell?

One Day in CABO SAN LUCAS | Tourist Heaven or Hell? (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler A fun day in Cabo San Lucas on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. Support Gabriel’s videos on Patreon: …

Hi Gabriel… it’s Amanda from Cabo Blue Trimaran Boat!!!! Amazing video!!!! Absolutely LOVE it!!!! We are happy you got to experience the snorkeling tour with us!!! We hope to see you again for another visit You can reach us at www.caboblue.net

Gabriel, thank you so much for your videos. I have always wanted to see the world but lack of money and time has made it impossible for someone like me. Travel shows only show you tourist attractions and highlights, they don’t show you the everyday people and life as it is on your videos. I especially am enjoying them because I have been quarantined for almost 9 months now because I have an immune disorder and if I were to catch Covid I would not survive. Being stuck in my bedroom your videos are very important to me and so appreciated because you do such a great job. Please keep yourself safe and be careful in your travels.

Gorgeous blue waters! 😍😍 Reminds me of Malta and the Mediterranean. I’ve been to several places in Mexico but never Cabo. It’s def on my last now! Thanks for putting this together. 🙌🏼

It’s amazing how it feels like 1 second ago you were on Hvar Island, Croatia, and now youre in Cabo San Lucas. You are truly blessed. There is nothing more rewarding than traveling the world, meeting new people and being happy.

Blue skies, lots of sunshine, beaches and the sea. What more do you even need? The older I get, the more I don’t care if a place is super touristy or not.

What an awesome video Gabriel!! The scenery and those beaches just amazing. Makes a guy from the great white North wish he was there. Enjoy amigo!! 🏝🍻😎🇨🇦

The beaches tucked in between those interesting rock formations are marvelous! The fauna was amazing! The lady, Amanda, looked gorgeous and friendly! Damn, i envy you Gabriel. Good job dude. Really enjoyed the video. Hope there will be a second part.

Bonjour Gabriel, you look so happy and relaxed, enjoying this wonderful Cabo San Lucas , with sunshine, beaches, boats, sealions, whales, beautiful rocks, this arch…mountains, good food and exquisite drinks. a real pleasure to watch this vidéo from cold, dark , rainy Paris after a long workday wearing my mask like we all do as dr. I really wish I could be there now …enjoying this mexican ambience , even If they would.try to sell me all different things… Enjoy and be happy, we re waiting for future coming vlogs 🖐🍀

Oh Gabriel…. How time flies… When I watch ur videos…. I don’t need to travel the world… Just watching you in action is so satisfying. 😊 Thanks!

Love your videos. I have traveled to many of the countries you visited. Don’t change your style. However, as a 68 year old traveler, the “tourist trap” boat ride put a smile on my face! I have been on similar excursions leaving both sides of Mexico as well as other parts of the World.

That sea lion was epic!….i always thought mexico was way dangerouse…but im actually happy to see that its touristic…means i would go and feel safe…thanks Gabe…happy travels…🐨

Glad u treated yourself to that tour, very relaxing and some great video of the beaches and rocks. Cabo is especially good for marine life, the Sea of Cortez is a gem of the planet.

The last time I went there was in 1987…when it was still a quiet fishing village. The streets were still dirt and the locals were beautiful and helpful. Can’t believe what it has become.

Those beaches are amazing, but pity about the many touts. You are one lucky guy soaking up the sea, beaches and sunshine, while it’s snowing here in central Europe. Enjoy👍

It’s very easy to take a water taxi from Medano beach or the marina. For a reasonable price, they will give you a short tour of the arch, drop you off at Lover’s Beach and pick you up in 1 or 2 hours, whatever you want. (If you really want to hike by land, it will take you about 2 hours so start early and pack water). You can safely swim at Lover’s Beach and if you are willing to walk for 10 minutes to the Pacific Side, you can see Divorce Beach. Big beautiful waves and less people but no swimming! I just came back to Canada after 3 weeks in Cabo and would go back in a New York Minute! Fresh air, sunshine, and free vitamin D! Be patient and respectful of the street vendors and they will be polite to you. Remember, most live on $50 a week and they are only trying to make a living. As a side note, my friends and I were walking to El Peregrino for steak night when we saw a young fellow painting that “Fn Cold Beer” sign :+).

Yeah, unfortunately when you’re in places that are touristy and you have aggressive touts, you have to take what they say, with a grain of salt. I would’ve tried walking there too, lol… The boat tour looked worth it though. Especially with free booze! Haha

There is NO private beach property in any place in Mexico, the Mexican Constitution prohibits that…

Love your content, keep up the good work Gabriel

What the hell for $15, $20 or $50 you were able to relax and take in what you otherwise might not have got to see. Amanda was kinda cute and I felt it wasn’t too touristy. Lovers Beach sounds just perfect for you and your hippy chic Stirling to hangout at sometime Gabe.

Hey Gabe, I a trick i always do when told I have to take a tour is just go on Google maps , change to satellite view and zoom in. You can normally see trails etc that locals and others in the know take.

This Is Mallorca | Beautiful Island In The Mediterranean

This Is Mallorca | Beautiful Island In The Mediterranean (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler Exploring the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, east of Spain.

Hello there, I live and work in Mallorca. Please respect this island as much as I do: do not bother residents with screams and shouts late at night, do not use glasses outside the bars after midnight, do not jump from a balcony to the pool (this is also for your own safety) and please do not leave any rubbish on the beach as the majority of the places here are quite wild and they don’t even have dustmen or garbage collectors.Respect this island as you would respect your city, your house or your room.Mallorquines are more than happy to welcome you to this island and give you suggestions about places to visit, to stay or bars and restaurants where to eat, drink and spend some valuable time with your friends and family.Remember we live here, so please respect us and our environment first.Saludos. p.s. Also Gabriel went to Banyalbufar when he showed us he was swimming in a beautiful sea. Be careful when you drive to this destination as it is full of cyclists on the road.

Lovely video, thanks. Mallorca / Majorca really is a paradise island. We mainly focus on the more touristy places in our videos but I hope this video will inspire more people to further explore this wonderful island. Thanks and best regards 😎

This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

Driving in Mallorca can be tricky at times. Instead of taking the boat, my wife and I once drove from Port de Soller to Sa Calobra and it was pretty scary along those windy roads. We came across coaches on the journey and it was obviously us who had to reverse to make way for the coach. That was not a fun thing to do on those narrow, twisty roads high up in the mountains.

Hello Gabriel! Such a beautiful country. The Central Plaza was very nice. I loved the quaint little village.. With roads that narrow you need a motorcycle. I know a car is much more comfortable and cool… Thank you for sharing your amazing tours of Spain with us. Take care Gabriel and God Bless you! 💮😃💮

wow. so beautiful. beautiful immaculate city center, beaches, country and mountains. incredible.

Haven’t been to Mallorca but just came home from Malta, awesome beautiful island in the Mediterranean that is its own independent country, highly recommend going there!

This is the first of your videos that I watched. Love your down-to-earth first-person perspective and how you seek out the authentic non-tourist experience. Subscribed!

I loved seeing more than the touristy areas as always in your vids.

I once heard of a narrow gauge simens train 🚆 which runs from Palma to soller through the mountains 🚞 Orange Groves🍊 and ancient gardens laid out by the Arabs 🌴when they were here. The stone houses and the clear waters of the med make Mallorca a very beautiful place indeed You are carrying on with the Spanish theme to your travels which began with Mexico Hasta manãna & wishing I was there too

once again, another fabulous travel video.. keep it coming. very interesting to see different places. Mallorca looks stunning!!!!

Such a gorgeous island and little towns. It appears you have solved the stutter in your vids Gabriel. If it is still there, it doesn’t bother my eye. Keep the vids coming!

wow..it’s so Beautiful there Gabe…You Always do a Great job letting us see thru your eyes…I especially love the Amazing water…

Awesome little car there Gab, it sounds sporty too. Beautiful scenery out there and quite a larger island to explore. 😁👍

Beautiful video! Mallorca looks so tropical! Your videos are nice and smooth at 60fps, I can’t wait until YouTube can playback 120fps video to make this even more immersive.

Nice! We are so happy living in this paradise 😍

Beautiful place ! I appreciate your time making these! ☮️

Cool video Gabriel.. Mallorca seems like a nice place. Very scenic as well. As for the driving, must be a European thing with narrow roads and traffic driving in your lane.. Safe Travels.. 🙂

Mallorca looks beautiful!

How interesting! This was nothing like the Mallorca I experienced more than 35 years ago – but of course, I was very young then 🙂 Have fun and enjoy your trip to the fullest!

How Expensive is TALLINN? Exploring the Capital of Estonia

How Expensive is TALLINN? Exploring the Capital of Estonia (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I explore Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and show how much things cost. Need TRAVEL INSURANCE? Here’s the …

The room I showed in the video is at the Helax Guesthouse. I recommend reserving it online using this website: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899 Or you can use that site to search for other hotels, apartments, hostels, etc.

As an Estonian that has been living abroad for 8 or so years, it’s quite refreshing to see someone exploring Tallinn (which used to be my hometown for the longest time). I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Tallinn and Estonia are Europe’s best kept secret. I do see Tallinn as more of a Nordic country and is very similar to it’s Scandinavian neighbours. A very futuristic country!

I am Estonian and it’s interesting to watch my home country from the perpective of a foreigner

Such a pretty town. I would love to visit it during summer. Love from India.

Sad part is – growing up, through the 90’s, we were walking those streets every day after hockey practice to the bus stop, and never realize how cool this city is. I miss it big times.Hello from Minneapolis. 2020

Estonia just went onto my bucket list <3

This video couldn’t have been more opportune, as I’m right now checking where to stay in Tallinn, as part of a trip to Scandinavia. I’m now even more looking forward to visiting this interesting medieval town! Thanks for the tips!

I wish, I could visit again lovely Estonia. I fall in love with that country.

Oh, I was wondering when you will make it up here! You came on the right time for the Christmas market. I cant believe we have 17 euro pasta places. Prices here are so ridiculous that I cant even. Our local beer costs less in Finland now 🙈 glad she took you to the hipstertown, thats where fair priced food is 🙂 anyway hope you had fun in my hometown 🙂

Estonia is beautiful and clean just like finland Estonian language is similar to the Finnish language

Gabriel you are simply amazing bro. You are a great Travel advocate and an inspiration.

Woah, just found this channel. We were in Tallinn at the same time! The chances we walked by each other is pretty high. That guy singing at the beginning was there almost every day. Awesome place.

I haven’t been there yet, but this beautiful city (and country) is a shining example for the rest of the world.

congrats Gabe you almost to a quarter million subs, the great thing is you deliver great tips and content so no worries you’ll get their

wow, Tallinn is really beautiful. As a brazilian, my dream is get a job in Estonia, it seems to me a great and modern country to live.

This is KYIV, UKRAINE | First Impressions of the City (Kiev) (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler Exploring the amazing city of Kyiv (Kiev), the capital of Ukraine. NEED GEAR FOR YOUR TRAVELS? Visit Gabriel’s Amazon …

The hostel where I stayed in Kyiv is called the Light Life Hostel. I recommend reserving it online using this website: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899 Or you can use that site to search for other hotels, apartments, hostels, etc.

Cool car, i liked itLada..😂

I love seeing how Ukraine and Ukrainian cities are more and more exploaring! That’s give me the hope of light future of my country. Слава Україні! And thanks for your work!

Glory to Ukraine! Kyiv very best city!

Hey Gabe. Kyiv looks cool. Safe travels ✌️

I am in Kyiv now ( Sept 2019) beautiful weather, much more activity at Independence square this time of year. Beautiful downtown core, lots to see and do. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Cool that you go to Kiev. Ukraine is underestimated in my eyes as a destination for western tourists! I love and miss that place.

Kyiv! One of my favorite cities. Great people, food, activities, and yes – fantastic in summer. Maidan on a Sunday evening, with the fountains going – all the people on Kreschatyk – the parks, the markets, just love it – and safest feel of anywhere in Europe. And even though I dressed and moved to look like them – how do they know at a glance you’re an American? I could never figure it out – LOL.

Thank you, Gabriel! You’ve given me the nostalgic walking home from one of my working place in Kyiv and get me back to the beginning of the 2000sPSI hope after some days in Kyiv you’ve cleared up your mix in the knowledge of in Ukrainian newest history. I mean the Orange Revolution and The Revolution of Dignity.

Got to spend a month in Kiev, absolutely fallen in love with the city. Highly recommend it.

Good video! I’m Chilean living in Germany and I will go to Ukraine in May 2019 I hope have better weather! Thanks for sharing.

Funny, I was looking last night on where to go next from Florence and briefly thought about Kiev but opted for a $9 bus ticket to Prague, instead. Haha 😆. And getting closer to 250k Sub’s! Those have been hard earned! I remember coming across your channel back in the early summer of 2016, as I was preparing my life to be more travel centric and I don’t think you even had 30k sub’s yet?! Just want to say thank you for helping reaffirm the decision I made to leave the constant rat race and show that one doesn’t have to be “rich” to do this. Just have to be honest with one’s self and know what you need/don’t need and what makes life fulfilling. Thanks again!

Its nice seeing Kiev again. Pretty nostalgic seeing you walk around the same parts of town i used to hangout at

Got to spend a week in Kyiv in May. Great city.

I LOVE Europe. ❤

Kiev is a beautiful city. Many parks which make it green (especially the Hydropark),orthodox churches and monasteries (Lavra visit is a must),the circus, the zoo,the deep metro, its many shopping centers and ofcourse its cheap enough and has fantastic women everywhere.

I love exploring Kiev. So many interesting things to see and experience.

Beautiful city

I’m from Ukraine. Thank you for this video! Good luck and welcome to Ukraine one more time!

I loved my time in Kyiv. Certainly lots of walking involved when visiting this city. Those shops/markets under the roads are cool 😎 I spent a lot of time looking around inside those.
