HOW EXPENSIVE IS MALTA? A Tour Of The Island
(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I explore the beautiful Mediterranean island country of Malta and show how much things cost. WANT TO BOOK A …
I didn’t show the capital city of Valletta in this video, but I explored it in another video, which you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7kpbJ0_Qn8
You’re right! That small island nation is packing a lot of history. Without your trip, I would have never been exposed to it. Even though Malta 🇲🇹 is a long flight from where I live, it must be included on my travel bucket list. Thank you for taking the time to travel to Malta and visiting these historic sites…👍🏻👍🏻
Love Malta. We first visited in 1981 and we have returned 7 times since. It’s like being in a huge museum! As for driving , on my first visit I asked a maltese gentleman which side of the road they drive on. His reply” in the shade” !! Loved the place eversince.
Gabe, thank you once again for your insightful videos! I’m heading to Malta mid September and watching them are being a massive help on my planning 🙂 I’ve decided to stay in Gozo so excited to see whether the next 2 videos will have some of it – can’t wait for my trip! Cheers from London and safe travels! Xx
You make me feel homesick for Malta !! Precious little island in the Mediterranean ❤️
Hey Gabriel, I love your amazing work! I do a lot of traveling myself, but I don’t know how to document them properly, some tips would be greatly appreciated! Keep the awesome work 🙂
Great Job, Mr. Traveller. My son and I made a simillar tour a couple of years back. Was awesome. Your video is well done indeed and brings back some great memories. I’m thinking of returning with my wife in the Autumn this year for a surprise, as she hasn’t visited at all. We adore history. There are so many cool sites there and just wandering around and bumping into things is bliss.
Excellent video Gabriel, like you have used us..Malta looks unbelievably beautiful with sooo much history , different ages, cultures..a real museum.Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to visit at least once.Definitly the best travel vlogger…👏👏👏 Hats off !!!Best wishes of health and love from Paris 👋
Thank you for sharing this. This is definitely a place I would personally like to explore. Have seen videos of Malta but not as expansive as yours. 👍🏻
Hi Gabriel, Amazing views of those Catacombs. I don’t much of the history of Malta but If I’m not mistaken St Paul shipwrecked on the Island while preaching around Europe was imprisoned for two years in Malta. They also made an old movie called The Maltese Falcon with Humphrey Bogart about the famous small statue of a black falcon from Malta worth a fortune. I don’t know if there’s any truth to this.
I absolutely love how you really feature the places. Thanks for the tour!
Castles, fortresses, HISTORY, these type of places are the ones I love, and with the SUN and ocean it cant go wrong can it?
Awesome video Gabe 😎 such a deep and interesting place of history in such a small part of the world 👍🏼 only 2800 years old, feels like yesterday huh 😉☀️🌴 I,m really considering coming here before the summer is up, some brilliant places to explore 😊✌🏼
Gabriel, you are a wonderful modern day explorer. Especially for those of us who loved travel in the past, but are unable to do so now. You bring back so many memories….

The prison from the movie midnight express is located in Malta. I read that the oldest structure is in Malta…10,500 years old.Excellent video gabe! 👍👍
Love Malta it was my first vist abroad way back in 1983. Went on a boat over to gozo beautiful. It’s on my list to go back
I visited the same places when I spent a week in Malta 4 years ago, the one ancient civilisation you did not mention that ruled Malta and before the Romans was the Carthaginians.
I’ve been seeing some of your videos when we visited india last year. Would have been great to take you around the secrets spots of our little island 🙂
Malta seems like a very cool destination with loads of history and fairly cheap. Never considered going there but since watching your videos it’s on my list now.

How Expensive is SINGAPORE? Exploring the City
(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I explore the incredible city of Singapore and show how much things cost. NEED GEAR FOR YOUR TRAVELS?
The hotel I showed in the video is the Fragrance Hotel Sapphire. I recommend reserving it online using this website: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899 Or you can use that site to search for other hotels, apartments, hostels, etc.
Thanks for the interesting walking tour of Singapore, the hand held camera makes it very realistic, like you’re really there ! :)Isn’t the “boat” restaurant amazing !
30 minutes of Gabriel in Singapore? I am one happy subscriber spending part of my Saturday night with you, Gabriel! Safe travels!!!
welcome to Singapore! hope you enjoyed ur stay here, albeit a short one. the eateries around ur hotel are mostly priced between $1 and $2 more expensive than some select ones. but it’s not worth the trouble if time is of the essence so you’re doing a great job making the most out of where you’re situated! all the best and safe travels =)
hi Gabe! thanks for this walking tour! i’ve just visited Georgia (binged-watch all your Georgia vids) and im stunned by its beauty, felt like im already part of the neighborhood! Guess what?!! i will be visiting Singapore next end of May 2019. You are my one stop channel for my upcomjng trips! Excited to explire singapore on foot same as what i did in Georgia. 🙂
One of my favorite places to visit. Such a fine city, literally.
Next time you come to Singapore you should definitely check out the Botanic Gardens and places outside the city such as Pulau Ubin, Bukit Timah, and dairy farm nature reserve 🙂
Singapore looks awesome. The walk through Cloud Forest is so beautiful and serene. Great video! Thank you👍
As an accountant, I appreciate you putting prices in both currencies.
Looks like a very beautiful city 🙂 I hope I can stay for a few days there on my way to Bali! Thanks for sharing!
can you make a travel map of your entire travel through out the year? that would loook awesome!! great video btw.
Awesome and informative video. What an amazing skyline, modern vibrant city and beautiful exotic gardens.
Love your videos happy travels, impressed with how clean the city looks 👍
Just came back from singapore. Its expensive for malaysian. =’) I managed to visit Garden By the bay. Its really beautiful. Definitely a must visit place in singapore. I hope you have nice vacations in singapore.
Thank you for the tour. Singapore is impressive!
Singapore is one of my fav country. I really had a good time there, even though I read many says it’s a “boring” place.
Great to see a travel blog that includes the everyday life of a place and not just the main tourist attractions. Keep it up. Let me know if you ever visit Cork.
Safe travels Gabriel! Thanks for taking us with you! 😊
Wow! Singapore is an absolutely unreal City! Singapore and Tokyo are the two cities in the world that I want to visit the most. I get to see Tokyo next month, but now I wish so much more I could see Singapore too
Thanks for the upload. Thinking about hitting Singapore for a few days, while I’m in Thailand. This video was very informative.
A TOUR OF CHANIA, CRETE | Is It Worth Visiting?
(c) Gabriel Traveler Exploring the small city of Chania on the Greek island of Crete. NEED GEAR FOR YOUR TRAVELS? Visit Gabriel’s Amazon …
Hi there, Gabriel! My oldest brother lived on Crete for 22 years. There used to be a small USAF Intel base about 15 miles east of Heraklion where he taught school. He learned to play the lyra and became somewhat known for being a foreigner who played the lyra. The base was closed about 25 years ago so they had to leave. I visited in ’83 for a couple months and traveled all over. It’s a wonderful island, for sure. One of my favorite places was Sitia at the far northeast tip. Hiking through the Gorge of Samaria was memorable also. The prices have gone up quite a bit, I see. Used to be much more reasonable, back in Drachma days. Someone mentioned that raki is the real drink of Crete. It is, for sure, but it can be rough. I recall the local wine being nice. Very much looking forward to your next reports, from Georgia?Btw, by brother lived in Turkey for a few years too. He said that Greeks have more fun at a funeral than Turks have at a wedding.
Chania is a small but beautiful city – especially at night, when narrow streets lit by lanterns exert an unforgettable impression 😍 😍 😍
Gorgeous! But it’s actually the play where I came for the first time in Greece which made me fall in love with this country. Since then I have visited Greece many times. Truly a gorgeous country with spectacular landscapes and beauty of all kinds. And too bad you didn’t explore Crete further. But I can understand. You have your agenda.
We have just returned from Chania, and loved it so much that on returning home I immediately booked it up again for 1st two weeks in October,19. The old town is so special, that I would encourage any travellers to put this place top of their list. We were so lucky to also see the resident Turtle that lives in the harbour, opposite the restaurants., Fantastic.!! We found a local beach, Nea Chora close be, and spent many hours just lazing and swimming in the sea, not bad for early October, and the temps were on average, 25c.
Your travelling expeditions are immensely inspiring, informative and intriguing.
The good thing about Crete is that it’s a big island and (due to the big offer) it has kept its prices in normal levels. Most of the Greek islands, the prices by now are completely absurd, for us at least, the Greeks. Which are salaries has been butchered. Thank you though, Gabriel, for showing to the world our beautiful country! Keep rolling 🙏✨
i’ve been to this city 3 times in the past, such a stunning place with a great atmosphere and wonderful residents. i hope to go back someday once the pandemic ends😊
I fell in love with Chania the moment I got out of my taxi to my Airbnb the day I arrive. I loved the vibe and the charm of the city. It’s been a year since I last been to Chania and I left my heart there. I can’t wait to visit again next year.
You should be given the highest award from Greek Tourist Authority for promoting the country.
Currently in Rishikesh! Love it and so great to see some places that I recognized thanks to your videos! I love Chania, was there back in 2011 💕
Awesome!I am from New Zealand. My first name is Canea. My dad has the name too. The name was brought back from Greece after the wars ended. I take great pride in my name knowing it’s origins are Greek. I am of maori descent, but carry my name with dignity and great honour. We spell it with a C here but I know it’s spelled with an H. One day I would love to travel to hania and see the town this Maori boy is named after… greetings and much love to greece…
Chania is one of my faovourite cities in the world – small but unequaled charm! My retirement place, one day…. The restaurant The well of the Turk btw is one of the best restaurants we ever ate at!
Great video as always Gabriel! Thank you for showing our beautiful town! Happy that you tried the local dish boureki. Hope to see you again around…the west coast of Crete is one of the most spectacular coasts-roads in the Mediterranean.
congratulations on a wonderful series of videos from Greece. Now how can any place else seem like anything other than somewhat of a letdown? 🙂
Another great video of Crete. You made me add Greece to my bucket list. Thanks for all you do Gabriel.Larry Z.Fairfield, CA USA
Good job! The old town has so much to offer you from the Topanas and the Jewish Districts, Santrivani, Splantzia and Kasteli as well as a number of narrow streets and buildings of Venetian, Ottoman and Neoclassical architecture that are jaw-draping.
Great tour of Chania, Gabriel. Funny, but I was thinking to myself when you would show the prices of things in Euros that it has been so long since I’ve been to Greece, that we were using Drachmas back then!
Wow what a gorgeous little town! You’re a lucky man, getting to visit such beautiful places. Thank you for this exceptionally well done video.
Gabriel, you are one of the best vloggers for travel videos. You keep the camera focused on the streets and other scenes rather than yourself along with a good deal of background info.
Out of all the videos of the Greek islands, this one is my favorite and I especially loved the night scene.
How Expensive is DUBAI? High Tech City in the Middle East
(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I explore Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and show how much things cost. Need TRAVEL INSURANCE?
That’s not a bad price all considering Gabe. Here on Amazon it’s about $450. How do you like it so far? I also make videos and the flip screen is something of interest to me. Nice to see you doing well with your channel.
I love the clean building walls in this city. No graffiti anywhere, unlike the European cities. So beautiful.
Going to the top of tall buildings is usually a bit of a letdown for me, because you pretty much know what to expect, just an aerial view of a bunch of smaller buildings… I’d much rather enjoy the views from the top of a mountain 😊
Dubai can be very cheap it just depends where you go, I’ve been going there for 20 years and Deira is very inexpensive in regards to food and good food at that, great video though Gabriel I found your Mexico uploads very useful for my recent trip there-keep up the good work!
I used to worked and lived there for more than 2 years. Dubai is amazing and very peaceful but yeah it’s quite expensive.
Dear Gabriel, every time I had the chance to check out your latest whereabouts, I have to take my hat down, making to Dubai is quite impressive and really fulfilling all the more after all the mileage you’ve covered so far, it’s also great to check on your new camera quality improvement yet contein prevails and stands out. I take pride in following for a while I respect all you effort, sure will soon deserve a Guinness Award! Take care and save travels
Hi Gabriel..happy to see all the places near burjuman, where i travel to office daily.Nice video but the prices you quoted are higher at least 20-25% than regular prices we spend.Even entrance ticket for burj khalifa is not 500AED for all..its only for prime time and for visit to 145th floor….there is other option for 126th floor for 130AED(38$) REGULAR AND 210AED(60$) for PRIME TIME.Many middle class bachelors will survive by just <10$/day for 3good meals in Dubai
Loves all your videos, every seconds of it. Keep it up, way to go, Gabriel.
Dubai glorious City. Interesting journey around Middle East.👍
I really enjoy your work. Very real, to the point, and fun!
Gateway Hotel…. Nice and cheap(comparatively).. I stayed there when I was in Dubai few months back.. It was really good experiance.. One of Indians’ favorite hotel choice in Bur Dubai..👍🏻👍🏻 This brings back so much memories man !!!
Dubai seems amazing. such a clean place.
Downtown Dubai isn’t even the expensive part… go to palm jumeira… that’s like the nice part of Dubai it’s amazing
maybe I’m going against the stream, but I live in Dubai since 4+ years and I find living here cheaper than other big metros like London, Toronto or the Bay Area cities.Ofc it’s all about personal expenditure management, but many things like blue collar services, public transportation (taxis esp.), electronics, cars, mid-range restaurants, rents and cost of houses compared to year of building size and facilities, cinemas, fresh snacks, … I find them way cheaper here than in other metros. What is really expensive are telecom bills (most expensive in the world) and alcohol in pubs/restaurants (as expected).
Wow that’s a very beautiful city!! Great work! Saludos! 🙂
Longtime lurker here…Gabriel you are a legend. Love the vids. I’ve been in a good few places you traveiied. India and Nepal are a treat to explore. I’ve been living in cambodia for last while. This is one awesome planet. Enjoy lad.
I’m pleasantly surprised that there are so many affordable eateries there. That room, too, was within my price range. The elevator ride less so 😉
I like that catwalk from the trains station to the mall, it must be a great relief when it’s 100 degrees outside to be shielded in a nice air-conditioned area away from the heat and sun.
Nice overview of Dubai. It seems like it would be an okay place for a stopover on an Emirates flight. I’ve seen a lot of your videos and I can’t recall one where you showed a mall 🙂
Hey Gabriel, If you haven’t already you gotta watch the Dubai fountain at night, amazing dancing waters. The best views from the terrace of the apple store. Also, check out the Dubai mall aquarium. Enjoy.
