How Expensive is MONTENEGRO? It’s Super Cheap!

How Expensive is MONTENEGRO? It's Super Cheap! (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I spend a day in Montenegro and show how much things cost. PLANNING A BUDGET TRAVELING TRIP? “Gabe’s …

This is the website I use the most for booking accommodation while I travel. Huge selection and you can find some great deals on hotels, apartments and hostels: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899

great guide dude! We should collaborate asap!!

Good stuff Gabriel! Living in MNE for 4 years now, we really enjoy visiting Ulcinj. Your viewers may want to note that the best beaches in the country are just south of Ulcinj along some 15 km of sandy beaches on Veliki Plaža (Long Beach). Also, important to note that Montenegro is the most bio-diverse country in Europe. That also means there are drastically different budget travel options. When travelers head to the mountains in the north, there are less known places where you can sleep for 10 euros a night and have organic farm to table everything for 4 to 7 euros a meal. Next time you come to Montenegro, look us up. We’ll be glad to introduce you to our farm stay network where people can really get into the local culture and have some unbelievable views and #crazygoodtravel adventures.

Another ultra-useful video. Really makes me want to travel to Montenegro.

Gabe, I loved this video! The whole vibe was so mellow and the area where you were staying was so beautiful. I could get real comfortable there.

Considering the tourist season and area, that was a good deal – gives you an idea how cheap the rest of Montenegro is – and Albania – as you are aware of – Greece has succumbed to exorbitant rates years ago……thanks for introducing Montenegro – haven’t been to Albania yet either, so looking forward to it….:-)

I love your video content it’s always informative and entertaining you actually travel to learn other cultures and see the history of that certain country not just to get drunk and party all night!! Thank you for your time and your effort 😊

Wow that’s amazingly cheap for such a beautiful place!!! Love that it has a wide selection of restaurants so close to the beach!!!

Thank you for the care and time you put into these videos. Will you consider travelling to the southern end of Malta?

Thanks for this video! So much of what we hear about the Middle East and larger Arab-Muslim world in the West is just centered on war, unrest, and extremism. But, as we can see in this video, the region also has beautiful mountains and beaches, a nice climate and wonderful old buildings. I’d love to visit Montenegro and Albania someday 😊.

Brother that place is so beautiful special in summer. I’ve been there so many times and I enjoyed every moment of it. Visiting the old town gives you a feel of the old old days although it’s full of shops and restaurants you can still see the age of the place. The huge pizza they sell inside for about 3.50 euros is enough to get you though the day. Nice video.

Montenegro is my favorite Balkan country! We visited this summer and went more into the countryside – STUNNING! The best hike we made in the region is near Skopje along the Albanian border.

Another great video on how to travel on a budget. And what a beautiful spot you found. Thanks again.

Gabe you should try traveling to Samoa in the South Pacific. Love your videos❤️

Really cool your visiting my home country of Montenegro my friend. I been to Ulcijn once before its much more quiet and laid back. I personally prefer Budva more for the beaches, girls, cafes, and nightclubs, it is a lot more expensive however so just be prepared to have stacks of euros on hand.

At 10:00, the call to prayer, the bustling tourist spot, a meal under your belt….that is a beautiful shot, explains the city, the relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful place, just love it.

Yeah Ulcinj/Ulqin(Ultshin) is pretty nice, very friendly and it is really cheap, many kosovars go to ulqin like at the summer holidays we stay like a couple of days in kosovo than a week or sometimes little less to Montenegro or Albania , it’s just great

Looks really nice i never really considered Montenegro as a holiday destiantion. Looks a lot less crowded than Croatia as well.

awesome vid. heading to the balkans in a few weeks. subscribed for more “is it worth it” vids as im on a world tour this year. keep up the good work!

Hi Gabe, thanks to you I just found an amazing looking apartment in Ulcinj for the stupidly cheap price of 61 (about $78) for seven nights, so I’m just about to look at flights.

How Expensive is Traveling in ROMANIA? It’s Cheap!

How Expensive is Traveling in ROMANIA? It's Cheap! (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler In this video I explore Cluj, Romania and show how much things cost. PLANNING A BUDGET TRAVELING TRIP? “Gabe’s Guide …

I’m going to Romania in a couple months. Thank you for this Gabe!

Hey! Thank you so much for saying so nice things about my city! Next time you go there I really recommend PANEMAR and use Tripadvisor for chosing a restaurant. Thank you again for promoting Romania!

I never heard of Cluj before. Finally Europe has many hidden gems.

It is very cheap and nice!!! I love Romania….it is one of my favorite countries ever!. Have you visited Timisoara?…its very nice!!!

TIps for trains in ROMANIA! NEVER buy FIRST class tickets! Go for second class because is the same thing.

Great video and thank you for encouraging my wife and myself to take it to the next level in life, to take the risk and commit to the adventure. I am 72 years old my wife is 65 years old and your videos are Inspiration for us to continue an adventurous lifestyle. We’ve traveled to 35 countries and by seeing how you take on the challenges has given us the courage to do things that we have not felt comfortable doing. The bottom line we are getting out of the comfort zone. What advice would you give us? You’re doing it and thank you for what you’re doing it is appreciated all.Jerry & Lori

good video bro!

The architecture is beautiful there and the prices are relatively low so I will definitely check it out someday. Thanks for another great video🤘🏽

Some stunning buildings and architecture. I’ve been to Arad and Bucharest but would love to discover a lot more of this beautiful country. Thanks again for your vids Gabriel

Pity you were there in a cold period. In full spring the Botanical Garden of Cluj is awesome! You could also hike up the hill to hotel Belvedere for a view, go to Chios lake in the Simion Barnutiu parck, very chill out places. You should have come to Oradea too, its one of a nicest cities in Romania. I would have taken you into a place to eat a big platter of meats, french fries, rice, breadcrumb fried onions and to drink a big caraf of wine all this for no more than 20 bucks. From such a platter ussualy 3 persons can stuff their belies full! You could then have taken a bus ride to Prague from here at a decent price!

Sounds like a very reasonably-priced place to travel. I noticed polenta seems to be popular in Romania. I didn’t know that polenta was a dish eaten much outside of Latin America. Interesting! 👍🏼✌🏼

Eastern Europe is very nice. Thanks for sharing.

You encourage me to change my mind of eastern Europe! Cheap and has charming places 💕 .. thanks for sharing info witg us . Keep going on Gabe 😘

Hi! I am from Cluj and I was pretty much impressed by your presentation of the city. If you would have stayed more I would have invited you to see the rest of the city. There are some historical nice destinations in the center worth seeing. Pity you haven’t seen them. There is a big nice parkright in the middle of the city, a hill with a beautiful view over the entire city called cetățuie and a series of little medieval like roads in the most ancient region of the city, whit a piece of the actual medieval wall of the old city and also some fancy restaurants there. Hope this helps other tourists doh.

Thanks! We just want you to know how much we appreciate you and all the work you put in to your videos and channel! Peace!

Another Very informative and interesting clip about the wonderful country of Romania!

I am from Romania and I live and love it here, Iași is a beautiful city here too, Thank you for this video!

Nice that you shared this video, I’m from Romania and yes it’s a beautiful country. I recommend you Transilvania, Maramures, Brasov, Sinaia, Predeal, Sibiu, Cluj

Cluj-Napoca, the city I live in 🙂 You explored only a little part of it for one day (from what you filmed). But hope you liked it!

Just a little tip : If you visit Romania in the winter period, Sinaia is one of the best locations . Just such a relaxing place, enjoy seeing the mountains, the city is awesome, you have specific places for ski , slides, and most important, wonderful Castles as Peles and Pelisor. Hope everyone is having fun visiting the beautiful country that Romania is.

Exploring Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar | Oldest Market in the World

Exploring Istanbul's Grand Bazaar | Oldest Market in the World (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler Exploring the incredible Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) in Istanbul, Turkey, considered to be the oldest market in the world.

Gabriel, I have heard so very much about this market, from everyone the world over! Everyone enthuses about it. There is no one who does not like The Grand Bazaar, I can tell you that, from fashion designers to just your average bargain hunter.

The Grand Bazaar looks amazing and vibrant. I hope to visit Istanbul sometime in the near future. Great intro guitar melody too.

This seems to be the place to put your bargaining skills to the test!

sick video! I just came back from visiting a friend in Istanbul. most beautiful city on earth. grand bazaar area has some amazing places in and not in the main zone. out of the main zone good wholesale deals specialty goods. also, if you got a pair of comfortable jeans for 200 lira that is not bad at all. could have spent more elsewhere for worse quality and comfort.

Having been there in 1979, I can assure you, no, not at all the same. Weirdly I get a tremendous satisfaction, Gabe, watching your videos and seeing all the places I definitely don’t want to go back to again. I don’t expect the world to stay a museum for me. Nor would I want it to, but I’m plenty happy to keep my memories of those places from so long ago. So, thanks for that small service. 🙂

Hey Gabe fantastic video.. The Music and sound while in the Bazaar couldnt have been better. Super cool

Amazing Gabriel 😊 thank you! ❤😊

Very nice video thanks for taking ne to Istanbul .. I miss it a lot 👏👏👏

This is Excellent, and I Love It a Lot! 😀

For a man who lives in İstanbul there is no big city in the world. Good work Gabriel👍

HI Gabriel, thank you for the video, did you find language barrier a problem in Turkey?

Grand bazar is so unique and you will not see a place like it anywhere

Hi Gabriel, That was a fascinating place the “Gran Bazaar” I didn’t see any electronic things in there no phones or computers or even TV’s but I did see a lot of jewelry stores. I’ll tell you though about the jeans if their real Levi jeans as you know there from California and they have gotten very expensive you can pay 40.00 USD or more for those jeans in the U.S. just go to the website.

Sounds like Tarzan in the jungle 😂👍🏻 cool vid Gabe 😊 I guess you’re in Georgia now , have fun dude ✌🏼😎

I’d so love to be there – undercover. 😀

İstanbul 😍💖

If you want to visit a bazaar with food, try the Spice (or Egyptian Bazaar), it’s near Galata Bridge. Also if you need some attractions tips, i enjoyed the Topkapi and Dolmabahce palaces and the Cistern Basilica (Yerebatan Saray). Happy travels!

I find I’m really looking forward to your next Istanbul video as it really comes across how much you’re enjoying the city.

Do you miss your family or love for travelling dominates that ? 😉 Love from Kashmir. ALWAYS WATCH N LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ❣️

Türkiye, İstanbul is very beautiful because ıts old, cheap, good, history… so come to İstanbul🇹🇷

The Real SAN FRANCISCO | Perfect Mexican Beach Town

The Real SAN FRANCISCO | Perfect Mexican Beach Town (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler A tour of the awesome beach town of San Francisco (San Pancho), Mexico on the Pacific Ocean. WANT TO BOOK A HOTEL?

Important note: the room I showed was more expensive because it was Semana Santa, the Holy Week before Easter. At other times it’s cheaper. However room prices at beach towns are always more expensive than in other places that are less touristy. You will find much better deals in other parts of Mexico. If you want to book a room at the hotel I showed in this video (The Hotel Refugio de Sol), or anywhere else while you’re traveling, I recommend this site: https://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=1724899

Man, I always feel as if I’m really there in your videos. There’s an immersive quality to your running narrative, insightful commentary, and fearless wandering. I feel like we travel in similarly questing, informed ways. Cheers.

Sometimes I feel afraid to travel some countries alone. But ur videos gives me courage and makes me feel comfortable. Thanks Gab, u r the best n all the best.

Great videos Gabe. Thanks again for showing us beautiful Mexico. I’m sure you are finding the people very warm and friendly. Happy trails amigo. Looking forward to seeing more. Cheers/Salud!

Thanks for showing us the little towns never heard of 👍

Mexico is Beautiful picturesque towns Sandy beaches great looking Palm and the other kinds of trees thanks for sharing your vlogs Tulum on the Atlantic coast is another lovely destinationAloha . ♒🌴

Thanks for your videos, Gabe. I’m thinking to retire to MX and your videos have been very helpful. Really like San Poncho and Guanajuato. Decisions, decisions. Will be going to MX next month and hope to see both places while I’m there.

Thanks for taking us to so different and beautiful places!! That’s just another brilliant video!

Wow Gabriel!! The food looked amazing! Nice to have all that sun ☀️ getting a little color Gabriel 😃, take care and stay safe 😊❤

I like how you explore and go off the beaten path, show everything as it is and tips to help those on a poor persons budget.

1:24 “here you have the San Francisco bridge” 😂😂😂. My man Gabriel always making good jokes . I love visiting Mexico for my vacations. Delicious food , nice people

My traveling brother! Thank you for bringing us along on your journey!

I’m so glad you got out of the super touristy areas and showed us some of the small towns we otherwise wouldn’t know existed.

Heh. This place is apparently a lot more popular and touristy than what I imagined after browsing Google Maps… Honestly thought is was going to be a little fishing town or something…

How cool, I live in San Francisco, California and my husband and I are thinking of moving somewhere around that area in a couple of years, San Pancho looks really nice and calm, thanks for the video.

I was blessed enough to visit here, It’s beautiful!!

*Great* travel guides rarely come along like you mate.

Nice laid back little town. Looks like a great place to hang out!🐱

I was here in 2002 and can’t believe the changes. It used to be a small fishing village. It’s certainly grown since I was there. Best vacation ever

Hey Gabriel, I enjoyed your travel video…I loved your food segment as Mexicans are at times so creative (artistic) in their entree presentations…Great that you keep an open mind towards trying new dishes like guacamole with grasshoppers…haven’t tried that one yet. I spent a month in Puerto Vallarta in 2015 and one of my sidetrips was to Rincon de Guayabitos…what a beautiful place that is…Happy Trails and all the best, Johnny

Amazing ZADAR, CROATIA: One of the Best Places in Croatia

Amazing ZADAR, CROATIA: One of the Best Places in Croatia (c) Gabriel Traveler

(c) Gabriel Traveler A tour of the beautiful city of Zadar, Croatia on the Adriatic Sea. PLANNING A BUDGET TRAVELING TRIP? “Gabe’s Guide to …

Croatia is cool , people are friendly and the prices are reasonable even in the most touristic places like Dubrovnik

Croatia hadn’t crossed my mind to travel and thanks to you I will include that on my to do list. It is gorgeous!

I am in love with Zadar. Come here every year. So beautiful ❤

My beautiful homeland. I use to live in Zadar.

So glad you went inside that 9TH CENTURY church! It is so awesome, what a slice of history-in fact that whole area is so fascinating with it’s ancient architecture…totally cool place 🙂

I love Zadar. My wife and i go there every year 😊🇭🇷

Wow what an amazing place! Really loved this video, the music, editing the whole thing was just great. 😁

Now that I’ve seen this n your recent vid, I think this would be a great start to see Croatia! Thanks Gabriel for your never tiring videos, there’s so much beauty everywhere you go! You are top knotch n I appreciate your information on each video. You ROCK 🤘until next time my friend, stay safe✌

I stayed inZadar and loved it! If you get a chance, checkout Krka National Park. I swam under the waterfall in Krka and it was the highlight of my trip to Croatia!

looks very awesome and croatia is for sure on my list! even more after watching this!

It’s kinda like the Croatian Cartagena and I totally dig that. I would love to explore Zadar.

Awesome. You popped up in my YouTube “recommended” video feed. I live in Jersey City, NJ, but am Croatuan American. I am the first one in my family born in the States. My parents came to the US in the 60s. They are from the islands off of Zadar. My parents moved us (including my baby sister) back in the early 80s but left well before the war broke out. My wife’s family are all from Zadar as well. She and I and our now 7 year old daughter go the Zadar every other year. Your video really put a smile on my face. This is an “off year” when we are not going to Croatia so it was nice to walk through the old town with you. There is so much history there. Before WWII the town was even more beautiful……..you can find some great pics online…..but still incredible to this day. Sorry for the long message….your video inspired me 🙂 Safe travels. Anthony.

I’ve been twice in Zadar. Great city.

What a beautiful country full of history. On my bucket list now.

I’m so glad I found your channel again! Its so crazy because I was looking at Croatia and wondering gosh I wonder if that youtube traveler guy has a video on it and you’re THERE NOW. I take that as a sign I should check Croatia out. 👍

I absolutely loved this place. Im all for getting about places. But I felt sedentary while staying in Zadar (Lake Plitvice in between Zadar). Every night I was out by the sea organ watching the sun set.

Wow that did look amazing. What a beautiful city. The cost of everything is so reasonable. Do many of the locals speak english? Some of the no on the Sea organ you heard and saw: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_organ

I love Croatia ❤️

Proud of where I’m from Volim te Zadar!!💕

Hi Gabe, amazingly beautiful, somehow a part of the video reminds me of Jaisalmer in India, with the local fabrics and embroiderie crafts displayed along the fort walls.. Realy nice videos, thanks for sharing 🙂
