Visit LONDON City Guide | What to SEE, DO & EAT in London, England
(c) Nomadic Samuel – Travel Channel The following is our Visit London Travel Guide which covers some of the best things to do in the city (50 suggestions) along with …
Hi Samuel and Audrey! Really love the videos! My wife and I are picking up some good ideas for our own extended travels once we shake off the 9-to-5 routine soon! My question is, where did you stay in London? I’ve changed planes there countless times on business, but never spent any time there. Also London is a great gateway for those of us living on the East Coast of the United States, and with so many discount carriers serving the city, it’s a natural jumpstation to the test of Europe. Your recommendations for 1) a visit of a week or more and also 2) for a hostel for extended layovers would be very much appreciated. Cheers!
I was a tour guide in London for a week in September for a family, showed the itinerary to their hotel concierge who said I could get a job easily, we did the city from 09-21 hours every day. My 20th time in London plus the years I lived there.
really enjoyed the London Travel Guide with Sam and Audrey! I have visited London 3 times now but always enjoy looking at place Ihave been to and places I plan to visit next time !!! London as well as Liverpool are my favorite places on earth !!! Great job Sam and Audrey !!!
What a pity you missed out on the most amazing museum in London – The Science Museum, just round the corner from the V & A. Its full pf interactive exhibits and experiments and the history of science and engineering. I love it; or at least I did when I was still living in UK.
Me and my wife had planned to visit London this summer but this corona thing ruined it all. ..your video was a visual and virtual treat to LONDON.. very informational video for our future plans. . Food choices are excellent. .. we loved every bit of it and dying to experience all 😍
Great video, I have been to London but not since 2005. Going back on my own, so this was wonderful to see. I loved your video. It was informative, fun, interesting and just a great way to view the city and figure out what I want to see and do. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to see more of your videos. Hope you make some for the rest of England and of Holland and Belgium and Eastern Europe! But this one I will watch more than once before going to London.
Great video! I really enjoyed it! I came across it while doing some research for my upcoming trip to London in 2020. It will be my first trip to Europe and I am so excited! The only thing I’m not looking forward to is the food. It just doesn’t appeal to me at all! I do however think I am going to fall in love with this city.
Loved the video! Would have liked if you had made a quick mention of the prices of the tickets and meals too – just to get an idea of the costs.
Hi, very good city guide of London, you managed to pack a lot in to one video!I create walking tour videos on YouTube (no commentary, just the sights and sounds), mainly featuring London, so it’s great to see how others approach similar content from a creative point-of-view 🙂
A very timely upload Sam and Audrey. We have just arrived in London at the beginning of a 2 month trip. Very useful information. I will use your Edinburgh upload as well. Thanks.
Another great video. I never get tired of watching you two on your trips.
thanks for making this video. I love the natural style but I find it a little confusing because the sequence of the places/sites are a little all over the place. And perhaps more mention of how u got from 1 place to another if they are near each other. Just a feedback. 🙂
I just discovered you two and I have truly enjoyed your London experience! Awesome couple and amazing video! Thanks, from Atlanta!
Very coolLove. Love. Love. The food reviews. Love the musicLove the London infoKeep doing itBoth good personalities
I was about to give up on London until I saw your video. You made London seem exciting. Thanks!!!
I really want to go in London someday anyway thanks for this awesome video.
I want to travel to London, England, some day. I have not ever gone to London before. I love this Visit London City Guide so much. Parliment in London also amazes me! I admire the way a contstruction company built them. Thank you for sharing it.
I love your awesome video! I live in London and love my beautiful city 🙂 Big thumbs up for you x
Awesome video! I’m going to be there in less than a week and I’m so excited! It seems like it’s pretty packed in London when you are there. What month is it?
Wonderful. Loved it. Great back pack, any info on where to buy and what company?
Things to do in Vietnam | Top Attractions Travel Guide
(c) Nomadic Samuel – Travel Channel During the past decade I’ve traveled in Southeast Asia more than any other region in the world. If I were to recommend one …
We really enjoyed our time in Vietnam and our favourite place was easily Sapa. There is something about the north in countries that makes it so nice. The people were very friendly up there and views were amazing. 🙂
great jobs and awesome video! Thank you for introducing Vietnam to worldwide! Now everyone may know that Vietnam is a peaceful country not a land of war
Hey Guys,Your video was inspirational! My husband and I are going to South east Asia for the first time for 3 months this monday, we are visiting: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines and watching your Vietnam video put our minds at ease, we were expecting no one to speak English and it to be really hard to travel around and hectic, but watching your video helped a lot!
Hi Audrey and Samuel, I’m in awe of the view from your room in Sa Pa! I’m planning a trip there and would appreciate if you could share the name of the hotel/accommodation that you guys booked while in Sa Pa 🙂
I somehow feel like wanting to be a tour guide after watching your video, to show you more and more about my lovely country with friendly, honest and attentive people. However, I’m still so young at the age of 13 🙂
Thank you so much. I love both of you. I love the way you live, the way you travel, the way you ate Vietnamese food and your smiles, also.
Great video! Love both of youplayed host in Vietnam. I am starving of watching both of you eating Vietnamese foods. I was there in 2006 and try to go back 2016 when my kids are old enough to understand and enjoy the trip. Thank you for bringing good old memories back to me!
I hate having to haggle, so I have a tip for you guys next time you’re in Vietnam. Food cost is about 1-4 ratio, meaning you should get four times more for what you would pay in the US. For example; a bowl of pho is around $5. You can get the same bowl in Vietnam for $1.25 or about 25000-27000 Vietnam Dong. Before you go to any country, find out the money value so you don’t get rip off.
Thank you for introducing Viet Nam to world!
Now I want to go to Vietnam 🙂
How do you guys know where to go when maneuvering around vietnam? I am Vietnamese but I live in America. Every time my family and I go down there it seems as though we never actually go sightseeing our experience anything new. Any tips on how to safely navigate myself around Vietnam whole traveling experience?
Well it’s nice of you doing that little guide, I think you could improve the following :- Show the sequences in the right order, chronologically.- Less of you two speaking in front of the camera, you can still talk and show what matter the most in a guide.- It is nice to inform of what you show in the language of the country, like what you eat for example Bàn Xéo, Chả giò, etcFor anecdote about your 1), I hated the way the I had to see Hạ Long, two days on it.- Food (included in the fare) was bad and in small quantity compared on the number of people at the table, the drinks (not included) where so expensive compared to normal Vietnamese price that it was feeling like a scam (priced in dollars)- Without any notice after an activity, we where brought to another boat all luggage’s that where in cabins thrown in a corner with the belongings of another crowd that had the same surprise.- Many tourists with us had in their tour reserved for a specific named boat, and in the end just never saw it, they where all guided together to this other boat they never heard of.- The original itinerary was not respected, they do what they want, who would know that they are not going the right place anyway ? -I had an advantage being with a Vietnamese speaking person, but when the owner of the boat did happen to know that, they “slightly” threatened my friend to not say anything to the other tourists.I don’t regret that I had that experience, now I am a bit less innocent about the lack of respect that some people from Hanoi have when showing the beautiful Hạ Long bay.
Vietnamese is really really friendly place
I am planning to travel next month to Vietnam. Your videos are really helpful when it comes to planning specially on where to go, what to do and what to try. I’ve tried travelling alone but budget wise it would be nice to travel with someone to share expenses with. I wish you can give good details on your transportation too. Like where to get best rides from one place to another such us ports, bus, etc. I love to try public transportation as it gives me more local experience and way cheaper than just taking a taxi all the time. But scams and opportunist exist so it makes it a little scary to some travelers.
I was in Hoi An last week, and every single time visiting this place I like to eat Quang Noodles. Pretty much all about food and culture. Love places like this.
hey! thanks for sharing your experience! how long did you take to tour around ho chi minh?
I really liker you guys’ spirit:) glad that you enjoyed Vietnam it feels very raw nature:)
Lovely video! I’m from Vietnam too but i’ve never go to HaLongBay before, i’m only visit HaNoi, NhaTrang and orther country =) Hehe, welcome to Vietnam and remember to come back soon! <3
awesome video just watched the hole thing thanks for making it going to be traveling around Vietnam at the end of this year and now I’m even more excited 😀
Guys.. Took in Seoul back in September and found your guides prior to travelling there fantastic. Planning Hanoi in 2015, so again, these videos and descriptions are brilliant.. Cheers!
German Food : An introduction to German Cuisine
(c) Nomadic Samuel – Travel Channel Arriving in Germany we had the opportunity to taste test German cuisine. From Germany breakfasts to currywurst it was a thrill to …
Btw: The Currysauce is not just Ketchup with Currypowder.. most people have their own recipe and the taste of the sauce changes from place to place a bit ;)And, if your still in Germany and have some time to spare travel a bit around to the west and the south of germany. I recommand Bavaria, but not the south part. The northern Part, Franken is loveley and has great beer and food as well. In the West, visit Rheinlandpfalz, especially in September when the grapes start to be collected and loads of Winefests are held along the Rhine 😉
Thank you so much for your presentation of my favorite cuisine in the world. I’m glad you also enjoy good German food. By way of explanation, “Traubenzucker” , or what you called “Grape Sugar” is the German translation for “Natural Fructose” . It is much different from what is being marketed in the States as “high fructose” , as artificial ingredients are highly frowned upon. It is natural and pure, similar to honey, but simply from fruit, not beets or cane. Your video made me hungry, and now I”m going to make some Currywurst 🙂 Mahlzeit!
What an awesome video! Thank you guys for sharing….very cool information. I tried currywurst not too far from me in Leavenworth, WA. We have a good sized German community here. ANYWAY…..wife and I fell in love with it….ESPECIALLY with curry ketchup. OMG…..it was sooooo good! Can’t wait to go to Germany next year to try one there…..lol. Thank you again for the video!
I love you two…I lived in Kuwait and followed some of your Korean adventures….I lived Korean food when I was there….I am an Ethnic German…my parents are immigrants from Germany to Canada…I grew up with German food and love my Sauerkraut mit any type of wurst, rippen oder Eisbein…..Your clips make me feel good.
I just got back from Berlin and I loved the food out there, funny how in the middle of Alexanderplatz you have a KFC, McDonalds and a Currywurst express in the middle. Typical German fast food. Those brutwurst people with the Grills on their backs are great as well.
I love the peppermint and did you try the biscuit one? It’s like a Twix without the caramel…very good as well as the Cornflakes one. I never did try coconut but sounds amazing but I think I’d prefer it in dark chocolate like a Mounds bar. Ritter sport and bratwurst on brotchen is what I miss most foodwise. I also used to buy boxed frozen cordon bleu that was made with pork instead of chicken. I never got sick of it and wish they sold it here in the US!! Thanks for sharing..It was nice seeing a bit of Germany again. I hope to visit there again someday!
The fact that they opened the Ritter Sport chocolate the way its supposed to be opened makes me soooo very happy :3 I really enjoyed watching them enjoy the german cuisine 😀 Very nice video, keep up the good work and keep being awesome guys 🙂
“Traubenzucker” or like you (basically correct) translated “grape sugar” is just glucose or dextrose. It is just a type of sugar and therefore only sweet and has no real flavor. And if you ever find yourself back in Germany, try a “Dner” – they can be found everywhere and are the single most eaten fast food here. A single shopping street can easily sustain three to five Dner places (if not more) but will be hard pressed to have two successful burger places.
The longer I stare back at him, the more I smile 🙂
Hey commenters, leave Sam alone. I actually find Sam’s camera stares quite unique and interesting. I don’t feel offended at all. Keep up the good work Sam and Audrey !
I went to the Ritter sport factory with school. We made our own chocolate there, it was amazing 😀
Cute couple, great video. If you’re in Berlin, I strongly recommend a Russian restaurant called Pasternak (Prenzlauer Berg).
To me as a German that was really interesting! We usually only cut the breakfast buns into two halves though and then put stuff on both sides. You can eat it the way you want though. 🙂
I first discovered Ritter Sport about 20 years ago when I was working at a resort in the Canadian Rockies (we sold it in the gift shop there)…my fav is white chocolate hazlenut!…followed closely by coconut. How do you find german chocolate compares to finish chocolate like Karl Fazer?
I wouldn’t say Ritter Sport is high quality chocolate, they still taste great though :DAnd I also recommend Lindt chocolate, especially Lindor – melts in your mouth like butter and sooo good!
really like the video, and at 06:45 i thought: “haha just like me” :D. Peppermint (and bitter sometimes) chocolate is the best. Cheers from a Berliner to you both!
omg dont tear the brtchen apart 😀
Lived in Berlin for a few years. Your video takes me back. Thanks!
damn I’d love make it back to Berlin someday
Looks simple yet delicious.
Things to do in Sapa Vietnam | Top Attractions Travel Guide
(c) Nomadic Samuel – Travel Channel When planning your next holiday or backpacking trip to Vietnam consider the following things to do in Sapa in my latest travel …
Was curious to see the “backpacker view” as an expat who actually lives in Hanoi, and moved here directly without being a tourist first (because of marriage). In the list of SE Asia destinations, most people list Thailand as their go-to destination first, but I’d strongly suggest that Vietnam has a deeper and more interesting culture and people, although it might be a little harder for the outsider to penetrate at first. There are three basic zones: north, central, and south, and they’re all different so someone wanting to really see Vietnam might consider seeing all three to compare.
I loved sapa sooo much when I was there. Your video brought back so much memories. I did 3 days of trekking and it was so worth getting to know the tribal people of Sapa. With little money, power & restricted opportunities … It was really touching to see how hard these villagers worked to get by. From a mother working the soil with her baby playing in the mud to a 7 year old girl trekking for many hours in hopes of selling some homemade items. A bit cliche, it almost felt like a village out of a storybook. Something I didn’t think existed anymore! On top of it all, the landscape was breathtaking. Rice terraces, mountains & valleys. Sapa was amazing in so many ways.
Love your video, truly reflect the experiences of treking in that kind of environment, what to expect. Thanks a lot. I thought the music was ticklish, resembles a tired and worn off being walking on a muddy land but the positive energy from heaven and earth helps him to move on.
I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting it. But if you had planned to travel to Sapa around the end of September, which is close to the harvest season, You would have seen an amazing view of the golden ripe rice terrace.
Hi Samuel, how many days would you recommend in Sapa? 4-5 days, including the trek. Planning a trip there in January. Any warnings with regard to the weather?
Sapa has many places waiting for you to discover the inherent nature of it
I enjoyed Sapa too. Amazing people out there…. Great travel indeed. 👍👍👍👍👍
Great video! I love ur background music, it makes me can feel interesting journey. And if u ‘ll visit Vietnam again, i highly recommend u visit Dak lak or Dalat, have many beautiful scence. U can discover nature, waterfall, forest, camping fire, visit minority ethnic house…
Great video, many thanks to you guys ! I love it very much Yes scenery it’s beautiful, I am sailing alone around the world. I wish you all the best.
Wow such an amazing video! I’m going to go to Sa Pa soon, hope the weather will be good 🙂
I just love how you pronounce “Hmong” with the ‘H’ sound first the ‘mong’ after :)Hope you are not offended by this, but the actual pronunciation is just “Mong” Keep up the nice video…
Hi, This is the best video on Sapa. Very impressive images of people and scenery. Congratulations.
The video is a bit long. But I enjoyed every bit of it 🙂 Great job.
“Excellent, we’ll be farmers” you are so hilarious!I will be going to Sapa with my Mom this late November. I hope the weather is cold. By the way my Mom is already in her 50s, I am afraid she would get muscle pain due to the long trekking
I actually liked the music & thought it sort of hypnotic & a classy change from the usual techno pop rubbish in most travel vlogs. Whether it suited the video might be another matter. It definitely emphasised the physical ordeal part and conveyed a feeling of monotony, but maybe didnt gel with the majestic views. I get pictures of a chain gang in the deep south. Maybe just 30secs of it while physically struggling with the walk might have been better. But it did stick in my mind (3rd time I’ve watched it) and make me wonder whether my out of shape 57yr old body & just about worn out knees are up to the longer of the walks
I don’t really understand why you didn’t interview any of the Hmong or talk much about their culture. The Hmong women speak great English and are always enthusiastic about sharing their culture. Your coverage of Kygystan was much better. I also wouldn’t call this a travel guide since you only covered trekking. There are other things to do in Sa Pa. Please don’t let this discourage you. I love your videos. Take this as a critique from someone who lives in Vietnam and knows Sa Pa well.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING PLACE TO EXPLORE, u inspired me to do it. Can you please share if you wouldnt mind the name of the tour company so I can try to have the same kind of guide tour to show me around and hike same areas u visited. I wonder if you booked a hotel in Sapa during the first night? What u paid for the hiking tour is included the lodging as well or u have to pay additional money? pLease advise, when u can, thanks guys, Sebastian
This is the second time I watch this video. Nothing’s gonna change my love for this video. Also, I love your smiles and music!
Great video Sam and Audrey looked like a really difficult trek oh boy
great video thank you so now i now were to go, when i go back!!!! can you guys remember what this hiking trip cost you both? looking forward to watch your other video’s
Brazil Food Guide Compilation – Introduction to Brazilian Cuisine
(c) Nomadic Samuel – Travel Channel Come join as we explore Brazilian Cuisine sampling delicious local eats in both Rio de Janeiro and So Paulo. Our Brazil Food …
Comida brasileira a melhor uma coisa que tenho orgulho a nossa culinria 😉
Omg all that food looks amazing, especially that meat that was being carved at the table in the Brazilian restaurant. I need to try that picanha slow cooked meat. I love mortadella, growing up in an italian household, it was a childhood staple we had every week and even for school lunches. Wonderful video, thank you for sharing and happy new year guys 🎉🎉🎉❤️
You guys seems to be very open to new experiences, not judging anything.. just trying everything out and not being picky and demanding. Thumbs up for you both!
Muito bom 🇧🇷 Brasil é um país de comidas excelentes com muito sabor e sem conta os lanches que só aqui no Brasil vcs vão poder saborear, nossas comidas são diferenciadas sem igual, tenho orgulho de ser brasileiro
I love how audrey says “this is so goey and greasy” about the mortadela sandwich and then just bites it like she doesn’t care. Brazil respects that, for sure.
You just have to come again to Brazil and meet some other traditional dishes from the Northeast region. Things like cuscuz, tapioca, moqueca, baio de dois… You will became crazy!
Hey thank you for being so nice with Brazilian food. I’m in love with every food here. Please the next time, try more foods and candy
Brigadeiro is made from condensed milk, not regular milk.
You have to try “feijoada” again, but eat it with “vinagrete” (it’s like a mexican salsa, only it’s less spicy), a lot of pork meat in the plate and less beans, it’s a whole new experience. The chips that you ate are called “torresmo”, they are basically pork belly meat and skin deep fried (or sort of deep fried, they do it in a different way), it is very common (not so healthy… but very common finger food to have in bars and a side to meat dishes. Happy you enjoyed brazilian food 😀
I get so happy to see foreigns (gringos haha) enjoying our most popular/common snacks and foods 😊😊😊Tip: next time try eating brigadeiro cake wilhe drinking a shot of espresso, freshly brewed coffee or a cappuccino (the italian way), it counterparts the excessive sweetness of the cake 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
aqui no Brasil se come muito e bem
🥯 Pão de queijo e café com leite é maravilhoso 😋
Amei o vídeo… Que bom que gostaram das nossas comidas…😍❤️😍
I’m impressed how u guys can understand the Brazilian food culture so fast its like u guys been living there for years. Picanha I’m not sure if u guys know but u can have it overseas too its called the hump cap in english. 🙂
Hi! I just came to tell you that, yes, it’s pumpkin (: You can also find this pumpkin sweet with coconut too. Also, the banana sweet is REALLY easy to make. It’s basically riped banana cut in circles and you put it in a pan with water and sugar, maybe a cinnamon stick and a few cloves. Middle to low heat and let the water evaporate. Just remember to stir it once in a while or else it’ll stick to the bottom of your pan. (((:
Adorei o vdeo! Parabns! Obrigado por mostrar os melhores pratos do Brasil. Beijo no corao.
It’s so strange to see you as foreigners reviewing my day to day cuisine, like po de queijo/po quente + caf com leite ^^ awesome
Glad to know that you guys enjoyed it, it is nice to see when people enjoy our culture.
