Not only was your presentation fantastic, but the way you did subtitles for so many people around the world was just above and beyond any expectation. That was incredibly considerate! You are thoughtful in your art and your teaching. Thank you for making this accessible for so many people.

Magnfico!

Hermoso trabajo….. Muchas gracias por poner subtitulos en espaol

Do you know where I can find a gravel scoop similar to the one you use? That would be really helpful to add to the collection.

I wish I watched this video before I made a root-over-rock today.Beautiful project!

I like your tree, looks really nice. How long are you planning to leave it wrapped with wire and what kind of rock did you use? Very impressive.

Muito bom

Great video. I use teflon plumbers tape to wrap the roots. It’s easy to use off the little spool to wrap all the way down. It doesn’t look pretty, being it’s white, but it’s only on for awhile. And at 99 cents it’s cheap. Say hello to Nomoto San for me please.Steve.

So appreciate the effort you make with subtitles

Muchas gracias por poner subtitulos

Muy buen trabajo y muy meticulosa. Gracias por el video. Saludos

Congratulations for such an impressive work. Thanks so much for sharing!

You will never died, because this tree will live forever, and as beautiful as your work of art !

“By the time the tree looks good, i might be dead”…this line strikes straight at the heart❤️

Que trabalho magnífico , parabéns 👏👏🇧🇷

as a whole it looks very special ,, the shape of the trunk and branches is very beautiful ,, and the exposed roots make the bonsai even more charming ,, greetings from 🌱🇮🇩

Great lesson on what bonsai really is. Thank you 🙏

Thank you for showing me how to make a beautiful bonsai 🌳👍

I would never be able to have one of trees look like that I won’t live long enough They are beautiful

“A man only begins to grasp the true meaning of life when he plants a tree under whose shade he knows he will never sit.”

I’m a seventeen year old teenager, I’m interested in bonsai because I watch a lot of bonsai videos on YouTube, I planted a banyan tree (ficus malacocarpa) as my first bonsai. I hope my bonsai tree can grow up with me

Grandioso trabajo!!

“The rock never grows” a moment’s silence for the people that actually thought you can grow rocks by planting them in soil

What is that soil made of? Thanks! great work!!

Where do you get the trees in the first place? Very nice bonsai!

Great job and nice video, thanks for sharing; you routinely use streptomycin for your rosaceae, and does it work? Where can streptomycin be found? Thanks!

Very creative & innovative, great job 👍

excelente trabajo, como siempre sorprendente

What’s Streptomycin? 😅😊Is it important when planting this way?

Very good looking bonsai. ♥

The mud stuff that they use is Muck-Keto. Its from the bottom of old rice fields, I think. Rotten peat-moss and acadama.

Saludos.

Hello,Should we also remove the bark from the branch before putting it in contact with the trunk?Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is a chance for us!

Do you need to take a layer off the branch you are attaching to the layer you take off the trunk? Or just take a layer off the trunk and connect a branch untouched? Thank you

Thank you for your video its really helpful, how long does it take to graft

Thanks for today’s class, I will put it into practice making three grafts with a maple palmatum deshojo

Hi there, Love your video’s, They’re very educational 👍😎Would this type of graft work if a long thin branch from another tree of the same species was used? 🤔

Really Good idea!! What kind of nail or staple do you use for that ? Thank you and very nice looking maples you got there !!👍👍

Top, parabns.

nomatosan, don’t you have to match up the cambium layer from the branch to the trunk?also, couldn’t you use a thread graft, where you drill thru the trunk and thread the branch to the side you want the branch come out? Nice looking trees you have, of course:-) .Steve.

Many thanks for these precious video in term of learning the Art of Bonsai. Can we also adapt this branch grafting technique for juniper and azalea ?

Muchas gracias, muy interesante.

Amazing and delicate way. Thanks a lot for sharing.

P.s nice looking maple specimen. I will start one soon all I have is trident maple sugar maple and red maple . Oh and a silver maple not sure how good it’ll turn out as the leaf size can be quite large

That’s nice!! What’s that material which one you using for “plastering” branch to hole??? Please

I like your videos really much. They are really good to learn lots of things or just enjoy seeing your beautiful trees, congrats, and thanks for sharing. Keep on it! regards from Barcelona.

Another technique learned. will try this on a small maple.

Muy buena idea lo de las chinchetas.

Bonsai is worthless if there is a tree hollow. Bonsai shinshi

Bonsai shinshi How to heal a tree hollow Zouki Bonsai is of no value in the presence of tree hollows. The beauty of bonsai is its beautiful trunk.

Personally, I really like to see deciduous trees with holes and hollows, like Walter Paul’s fairy tale trees. Looks perfectly natural to me

In England we have many ancient trees that are hollow. It is a very natural thing and looks realistic in a deciduous bonsai. Thanks for the very informative video.

Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing the strategy of airlayering and root layering simultaneously. Brilliant! I did want to ask what are you using to wrap the moss? Looks like a tissue.

12:41 -Is that rooting hormone powder? Also, what is the compound used to fill the hollow called? I don’t think I’ve seen that here in the US, yet. (Yes, I’m still a beginner and much of this is still new to me, so my questions are genuine, and not meant as a challenge.) Thank you for your clear camera work. These demonstrations are very helpful.

“Bonsai is worthless if there is a tree hollow …” Who says so? I think it gives it realistic character. One often sees hollows in full size trees.

I can attest that this technique works wonders. I’ve used it many times over 10 years and it never fails.

I love the way you work, it’s so inspirational! Best bonsai channel on YouTube!

I want to send you my appreciation for having so much passion in the art and sharing it which us, Wish I could see the results but I’ll have to wait some years 🙁 .

Thank you very mutch master Daisaku Nomoto, a great and clear bonsai lesson.

That was a great technique, using an air layer with root grafts. You are the first one I have seen use both together, thanks for sharing.

Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for your work

Great job, it will be a great tree again and healthy, thank you very much for this new lesson.

thanks. I have a trident maple with hollow inside, it’s made from several little plants tied together in a pyramid shape. I need something to fill it, epoxy putty will do. thanks. this video shows many bonsai techniques in one short video. very instructive!! like like

Great, thank you. We appreciate that Bonsai Shinshi are uploading more video’s regularly.

Amazing work. Love your creativity 👌❤

Hello. Would it be possible to know the brand of the healing paste you use? I’ve tried a few and none of them work as well as the one you use. Thanks a lot. I never get tired of learning with your videos and techniques.

thanks you so much for sharing. Please let me know, what is the powder you used when you mix with dry moss ??

Yah rite I like the hallow look . It makes it look like a real tree in the woods.

How long does this process take before you have new roots and you cut the base off ?

Sin palabras, gracias 👏👏👏👏👏
