I’m convinced he can make Damascus steel from two ham sandwiches and a used napkin. This guy’s amazing.

That was amazing seeing the final result.
Dmitry, I never thought I’d be able to pick a favourite knife – all of your creations are incredible, but this is the one – stunning, absolutely stunning.
I can’t believe how good this guy is at making perfect cans. Zero delaminations and perfect peal every time. Incredible.
Amazing pattern using coins. I wouldn’t imagine that outcome. Where does one go to purchase one of your blades?
The way he casually wipes the hot metal ashes just blown my mind 🤯He’s such a heatproof man!
Simplesmente linda ❤️
Green Beetle called himself “discount shurap” in his last video and I about fell over laughing.
You do outstanding work! It’s always a pleasure to watch you turn a block of coins into a work of art!
This is the result of loving your craft and crafting with love ❤️
That had to be one of the prettiest blades I have ever seen.
Padro lindo. Pea maravilhosa. Belssimo trabalho!
He’s not a blacksmith, he’s an artist! Absolutely magnificent!

This is stunning sir. Absolutely beautiful and actually when you look at it the right way it looks like there’s nothing but an edge nothing in the middle. You did a great job sir what a great job!
Love that no weird music or spend 30 minutes out of a 40 minutes video explaining what he is doing
Just finished season two with my 9 year old son. Just watched this with him and his only comment was “Epic”
6:52 The Beskar ring… I love that subtle reference to the show, not like the blade itself was a reference or anything. Beautiful piece of work
For some reason I look forward to the tea making part as well as the amazing craftmanship with the blades.
Straight to the making process, no long introduction. I like it. And you were also considerate too. Not many people lower the brightness from weddings.
Thank you for posting these videos. Watching them is like therapy for me!
So creative. Very stunning blade! I wasn’t sure where you were going or how you were even going to get there, but you pulled it off beautifully.

Shurap, I know this isn’t one of your canister Damascus videos, but where can you get the square tubing to make a cannister?
Probably already been asked, but what 2 steels did you use love to try a similar pattern.
Wow! Beautiful blade, well done.
The “forge” is strong with this one….
Beautiful as always Dmitry .
Damascus of batteries a knife from a flashlight

What is the very first solution you soak in?
+20 physical damage+5 electric damage
Careful. Don’t use nickel cadmium batteries, use nickel metal hydride. Cadmium is toxic, be careful.
your skill of forging knives out of scrap metal is truly amazing
That;s gota be the coolest concept ever!!
Love how the twists showed so well. Great job.
You sir, are amazing. Your Damascus blades are the most unique, and beautiful i have ever seen. Your skill is enviable.

*WARNING!!!!!!!!**Use gloves, glasses and mask when working with batteries*
Dude is hardcore, i would never rip into batteries with my bare hands….😯
That was incredible, I didn’t even know you could get that steel from batteries. Very impressive, I thought you’d lose more steel in the process but you really made it work well and it looked great!
Amazing work and such a beautiful pattern. Would love to own such a knife.
That’s beautiful, I’d love one of those for my old maglite.
Beautiful knife, well done! The pattern on it is awesome.
That’s one of the prettiest Damascus patterns I’ve ever seen. So beautiful.
Amazing that that pattern can remain after heat and compression. Really nice!

Been watching some of your videos. You readily enjoy your craft! Artist! I can tell you look at metal the way an artist looks at nature you can see the inner beauty
Very nice set of knives, I bet Harley would be interested in a line of knives to sell retail. Great job !
You are in the top 5 best knife makers I’ve seen so far, masterpieces from scrap metal, keep them coming.
Love the “Shu-wipe” of the Anvil. My OCD expects it after every hammer session.

Dragon’s Breath Damascus Steel, making a blade.
(c) shurap I combined three well-known techniques of creating Damascus steel and got the fourth one. The drawing is called “Dragon’s Breath”. Blade design – dragon wing …
That is a seriously beautiful piece of steel. Would have been great to see what handle was fitting to complete it.
This guy is good at what he does. These videos are awesome. No talking, no drama. Just skill. Well done.
That pattern is bad ass. Great work done. Magnificent knife blade.
He have ” hardened ” hands over the years , by the work and experience ! A really master in steel stuff !
First, you’re a blacksmith. Second, you’re an artist! Your skill is a dying art. Thanks for making these videos.Much respect from Canada!
Try it with pipe screens, the fine mesh would be interesting to see if pattern shows up. Plus they are stainless steel
That blade is stunningly beautiful. I know a little about knives, but Ive never seen one that exquisite made from scratch.Well done. The days of the craftsmen are disappearing , but artisans like you are the hope of the world.
Amazing craftsmanship. I could never keep track of how the design works with all of the folding, cutting, welding, and then the final twisting. So precise!
I find it amazing that playing the edge of symmetry (which some times can get monotonous, let’s be honest) can yield something as beautiful as this. It’s nothing short of spectacular how crisp and defined the patterns are.
That is beautiful!! I Love watching these projects from start to finish!! Such Talent!!
Stunningly beautiful blade! Thanks for sharing!
What a gorgeous piece! This guy is extremely talented👏🏻
I love watching all these damascus-ish blade videos. You guys do beautiful work. But I’ve an issue with calling it Damascus steel. That steel had much to do with the unique chemical signature more than just fancy patterns and on that more important issue, it’s important that none of you modern masters call it Damascus Steel, call it what it is, pattern-imitations.
It must be so satisfying to wipe the top layer off and see the succesful, gorgeus pattern underneath. Amazing, impressive work again.
Wow…absolutely amazing. One of the coolest Damascus patterns I’ve seen so far….I would pay 100,000 to learn his level of skill
I so enjoy watching your work…you are an extremely talented smith sir.
Espetacular excelente trabalho cara, voc muito talentoso!
Knocks the forge scale off with his finger @5:48. Dude’s a badass.
