Dracula is a really really good book, everyone who’s a fan of the vampire genre should read it.

Great video, but the real castle of “Count Dracula”(Vlad Tepes) is Cetatea Poenari that is near Lake Vidraru at the beginning of Transfagarasan road(in the heart of Romania) not in Moldova.

Anyone can read the true story of Vlad Dracula on Wikipedia. Since so many tourists came to Romania and wanted to see a place that has a connection to Dracula (and because other citadels where he actually lived in are much harder to get to) someone chose Bran as that place to mimic Dracula’s place. But Transylvania was then under Hungarian rule (Bran region was populated by Germanic people) and Vlad was a prince in Wallachia (southern Romania) so he was just a visitor to Bran & locked there. Actually Vlad was taken by the ottomans to Istanbul as a kid then returned to fight them at home because he was a devoted Christian as his father. His father was a member of the Dragon Order, a Christian order (following the footsteps of the Crusades orders) of the Holy Roman Empire meant to fight the enemies of Christianity.

I went there in 2016. It’s an amazing place and the castle is beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Istanbul is amazing, you literally need weeks to explore the city.Btw, public transport is quite efficient and cheap, you should buy an Istanbul pass at the airport and you’ll be able to use all the transport there from trains to metro to buses. An alternative and faster way to reach the other side of the European part to Hagia Sophia would be taking the metro from Taksim or from Şishane stations at the end of Istiklal Cd

Everybody go to Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum or Kapadoya even tough there are also many things to be seen in the rest of Turkey, especially in Anatolia, if you are an history enthusiast you can also go to Corum and see the place where there was the Hittite Empire.You can also go to Bursa to see very beautiful houses from the Ottoman Empire time and also very old mosquee too, they still have very old bridges one that even has a closed market on it.For people that are nature enthusiast they should see Van, or the north of Anatolia.Mardin has also a very specific beautiful landscape.Anyway, try to visit others parts from Turkey seriously it is worth.

A Tour Of BODRUM, TURKEY | Is It Worth Visiting?

Some people have complained about the music and asked why I didn’t use Turkish music. The reason is that there are restrictions regarding music that is used in videos for Youtube. Basically, you can’t use any music that is copyrighted or your video will be demonetized. So most Youtubers, including myself, get the music they use from certain sources that offer music that isn’t copyrighted, for example the Youtube audio library which offers free music for Youtubers to use. Plus I pay a monthly fee for Epidemic Sound, a website that creates music that can be used in Youtube videos. Point being, you are limited by what you can find from those few sources of music. And unfortunately there often isn’t music that is specific to certain countries, so you have to use something else. I searched for Turkish music, but there was nothing distinctly Turkish. My first holiday out of the UK was Bodrum Turkey, I have been to many places since then but Bodrum is my all time fav destination. The people are so nice and friendly and to me that really makes for a great holiday.

While on the Turkish riviera I also recommend visiting the biggest city there, Antalya. Amazing city and so beautiful!

This is a very well known tourist destination for package holidays and popular for many years, mostly European holiday makers since the 70’s have been going there, organised by big holiday companies.

I love Bodrum❤️ it is better than you see in this video. I live in US, but my heart is in Turkey. I believe, one day I will live in Bodrum 🤗❤️

My wife and I stayed in Gumbet which was so beautiful. We used to visit Bodrum by bus which was so cheap. Totally loved Turkey and we ended up staying for 11 nights.

I`ve visited Honolulu, Hawaii more 14 times so far, and I`m quite sure this is the most beautiful place in the world. However, 13 years have already passed since I visited there the last time, and I miss Honolulu very much. This is so interesting! I live in Hawaii, travelled all over Europe but it is Kathmandu that I want to see the most. It looks so different from everything that I have seen! Can’t wait for visiting Nepal.

It’s like an ant hill with thousands of them packed in and trying to get around each other.

I visited Kathmandu a couple of years ago after wanting to go there my whole life. I was terribly disappointed, but due more to that dream of going there 30 years ago. When I think about Kathmandu now two years later, and watching your video I know I will be back there one day. It is a great place.

Brings back my memories of being in Nepal in Nov. 2018….EBC trek. This was a dream of mine since 1971. Unfortunately on the 3rd day of the trek I had a very bad fall injuring my right wrist, arm and shoulder. It had MAJOR swelling. Got to Namche and took a helicopter to Lukla for a trip back to Kathmandu so I could go to the hospital. Nothing like have a life long dream come to a screeming halt . It was like I got kicked in the jaw. It hurts to this day that my dream came up short. Loved what I saw…very eye opening…so beautiful

Kathmandu has a lively vibe, it’s pretty noisy and looks hectic but is chilled at the same time, the beautiful shrines, food corners, pretty shops and overall relaxed people, what I love is even just wandering around the streets for no reason is very fascinating, as a person who lived in Kathmandu for 10 years and is badly missing the noise and the crowd, I loved how this video captures the raw feeling of the streets and bazaar of Kathmandu. If only the construction work of roads, the huge mess of electric wires and the motorbikes could be managed, Kathmandu would be even more magical.

this video did remind me, that my trip to Nepal in 2008 actually took 24 days in total and the trekking trik in the Kangchenchunga region took around 18 or 20 days including the short first day and the last day, were we waited for the airplane. I don’t know, why I mentioned 15 days lately. I think, because of the resting days and adaptation days we had, where we didn’t hike. I personally was practicay draged there by friends ;-D maybe that is why it all is a blur. but I have so vivid memories of Kathmandu. wondering around. we stayed at Tamel. I loved it there. I still hope, I can get there again within the next years.
