I’m suprised by the higher grip and by the cornering speed of the FD2, considering it’s heavier.

The older model has much nicer styling and more impressive engine. 300hp from 2ltr turbo is not ground breaking but 185hp from NA 1.6 is amazing even now.

That EK9 drift was so effortless! very nice lol

I say 2 of the beat drivers out there still doing it.. Respect!!!!

Closer than I thought for a practically vanilla EK9. Those wheels were awful lol. Now try the Seeker EG6 or the k-shift CRX… HahaI would love to see that test 😆

昔は、筑波のRAPで1分切り目指して開発してただけにテクニカルセクション重視の設計でしたが、今はニュルのように中高速区間の続くコース重視の設計のため名前は同じであれど全然違う車になりましたね。

ek9はあの時代だとノーマルでチューンされてる様な物だったからな

damn that top secret GTR is SCARY. those straight away pulls, made the mcr GTR look like it was sitting down.

インプとS2がいいタイムで走ってて凄いね。S2の戦闘力も確かに凄いけど、あそこまで使いこなせる腕にやっぱり脱帽するよね。凄い。

Orido is a beast. No one else will dare drive that car like he does. I am a huge fan of his.

That s2000 is very impressive. I was pretty shocked on its lap times being underpowered.

So awesome!! MCR launch was crazy, he was touching the wall there. The Top secret car on the straights, jesus!!! a ton of amazing cars, so great to see the ride-along people so happy and analyzing the technique, not quite the same as you’d find in the USA me thinks!

Now THIS is an exciting race. Wonderfully made. Super awesome. I wish we could get stuff like this in NA lol

The race culture in japan is serious. I’d love to be a part of it.

Would love to see the tuning power potential of the 2L. I imagine it won’t be too difficult to match the 3L power from the 2L engine. Then you’d have the best handling A90. Looking forward to the future developments on this car! Thanks to Best MOTORing for providing English subs!!!

Interesting to see the 2L feel and perform better than it’s bigger brother. Even with lower power and weaker breaks the weight difference and balance more than made up for it. The 2L has great tuning potential.

I love how Keiichi Tsuchiya after these years doesn’t look like he gets older. Still a legend

what a great episode being able to see the distinct differences of engine size and testing/development. Gotta say i would prefer Oridos car any day . but if my only place to drive are some winding hills or togue , im not going to overlook the handling and petal to the metal action the smaller engine can provide

Although they did not drive stock version of both back to back, their feedback on 2L vs 3L is very insightful 👍

Most comprehensive Supra review on the net. My take is a 2L with more power would beat 3L in all aspects but no mistaking that 6 cylinder sound is drool worthy
