Could you imagine having a book you drew nonsense in and then hundreds of years later people think it’s some magnificent work of complex art and dedicate years attempting to understand its ‘complexity?’

Every person who has seen this video, in some part of their heart, wants to be the person to translate this book.

i would love it if this was actually just the diary of a teenager with a big imagination lmaoooooo

Can’t imagine how many languages the humankind has forgotten.

Oh, so when some medieval guy does it it’s “mysterious” and “captivating”, but when I do it I “have terrible hand writing” and “need to go back to school”

This is how future archeologist will describe our memes

introvert kid: *draws things out of boredom*people today: *the world’s most mysterious book*

“What do you think it is?”The diary of a mediaeval Wimpy Kid.

I need to start a journal in a made up language. I’m going to fill it with cryptic messages and illustrations. And maybe add little clues, letters and treasure maps, hiding small objects in remote places. Hopefully in 100 years my great grandchildren will freak out and think I was a witch or smt(And then they’ll find this comment in the Youtube historical Archives and understand I’m full of sh eee t 😂)

Honestly, that book looks beautifully and artistically made. Especially those handwritings.

This inspired me to write some gibberish to confuse the future generations

People: “God knows what this book is! “Me: “A elegantly decorated project file of an ancient student. “

one day i’ll lose my diary and people will act the same way after seeing my handwriting. lol

I feel it almost matters less what it actually is, than how much joy and thought has gone into it. If we learn someday that it holds the secret to remaining zit-free, or just understanding, and exploring a wonderful mystery, I am happy this object exists.

In middle school my two best friends and I shared a diary we passed to each other. We wrote it in a language we made up. We also lost it and don’t know what happened to it. Always assumed the Voynich Manuscript was the 1420s version of three best friends sharing a diary and then losing it to have it somehow become a great mystery.

I must say that this is one of my dreams as a kid: create a written language and write a book using it. Can’t wait for the day it will be done.

this reminds me so much of mgg’s website, obviously his is for fun and is actually cohesive but the drawing style and the overall energy the pictures give are basically the same😸😸

A lot of it looks like information for medicine, should be interesting when it’s deciphered.

Narrator: For over 100 years, scientist have tried to crack the code of the book without breakthrough.Narrator to me: What do you think it is? Well I think it’s a book no one understands just yet.

Either someone wrote gibberish in a book and sold it as ancient knowledge (which would be absolutely frickin amazing) or someone was tripping balls for like 2 days straight and wrote a book

What happens to our bodies after we die? – Farnaz Khatibi Jafari

What happens to our bodies after we die? - Farnaz Khatibi Jafari (c) TED-Ed

(c) TED-Ed Trace the evolution of how humanity has treated bodies and burials throughout history, and grapple with the question: will we ever run out of burial space?

I can’t imagine this video in 100 years when most of us in the comment section will be dead and the future generation will watch this and read the comments from dead people.

Every year you celebrate your birthday knowing it was the day you were born, but every year you pass your death day and have no idea. Good luck to all. Have a good life while it last.

I’m more scared of family death then my own it’s just too hard imagining living without your family 🙁

Can we appreciate how well his claymation is made

This video really made me think about how I’m living my life right now.

it makes me actually lowkey depressed to think a bunch of roaches will eat me one day

Even if I die, my comment will live forever. 2019-Sept

You can be a king or a street sweeper but everyone dances with the Grim Reaper

“Death is an inevitable part of human life”… That line really speaks louder …..😶

“Death is what gives life meaning” – The Ancient One

According to Mufasa in The Lion King, “When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass.”

All we really need is to LOVE our neighbor, care for the poor, widows, homeless, sick, infact do to others what you want others to do to you

A person doesn’t worth $1000 as alive but when he die, his dead body cost $5000 to bury

Oh my god. The animation in the whole video is amazing. Also I’ve never seen a claymation as smooth as 2:04

Away from philosophy and religion, this video has pointed out a very important point that many people are ignoring. No actions are taken in order to solve problems regarding to our beloved planet earth. Thanks for posting this video 🙂

All the best to everyone reading this comment, may you all live with love and peace and praise the almighty God above 🙏

This video does a good job of answering the unknown questions about death. We all will share similarities during our end of life cycle.

Thank you for the video😇 I can’t really imagine we are all have to die one day, live your life to the fullest and enjoy every moment of it and yes the most important thing is to Help your neighbour, Help the the one who’s in need,Be kind always and be grateful for what you have., 😇🙏

We all are born to die. Life is to short to go to work everyday. Lol

No one will ever escape from the pain of losing a family member. You have to endure it as long as you are alive. Death is the only way to end it. “The one that survive dies.”I miss my brother so much if I only I could join him :<

The myth of Arachne – Iseult Gillespie

All athena did was prove arachne’s point, that the gods abuse their powers

Arachne: Nooooooo!!!Medusa: Welcome to the Athena Curse Club 😆

Summary: Athena is a salty goddess

Arachne: The gods and goddesses abuse their powersAthena: **inhale* *HOW DARE YOU TELL THE TRUTH*

Arachne: Did i win??Athena: Yes but No.

This retelling is beautiful, but quick side note: This version of the myth is filtered through the Roman poet Ovid who held a grudge against the Greek and so painted Athena in an unflattering, cruel light. In the original Greek myth, Zeus punishes Arachne for her hubris and so she committed suicide but Athena took pity on her and so resurrected her as the first spider so she could weave for eternity and her children too.

Old lady Athena: *berates Arachne*Arachne: OK Boomer

They are just like teachersFirst they will argue you, then they we will say why are you arguingAfter you prove your pointThey will punish you for doing so

Athena was the first historical example of a Karen

According to one version, Arachne tried to kill herself when Athena raged and the latter was ashamed at how she behaved that she decided to turn Arachne into a spider with, “No more will you weave on the loom, instead you’ll continue your weaving in the air.”

Arachne: Displays how gods abuse their powersAthena: MADAlso Athena: *Abuses her powers*

Nobody:Arachne: Gods abuse their powers UwUAthena: HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH A THING *abuses her powers*

Athena:cursing Arachne to be a spiderArachne:spreads around the world killing thousands of peopleAthena:surprise pickachu face

Arachne: shows that gods have no self control Athena: let’s prove that she was right🥴

How IRONIC how Arachne said the gods abuse their power. In teaching Arachne a lesson, Athena proves Arachne’s point

Arachnae: I won. Wow I’m goodAthena: STILL WAITING FOR YOU TO SAY “THANK GOD I WON”

She sounded like the most woke person in Greek Mythology.. arrogant sure, but obviously knew her stuff!

Arache: *wins and ends up being correct*Athena: THAT’S NOT FAIR-

Hold on, from what I read from Mythilogy from Edith Hamilton, Arachne was never arrogant. It was her fame and from the people that caught Athena’s attention, showing that the greek gods can be petty and malicious

Arachne: The gods abuse their powerAthena: No they don’tAlso, Athena when she loses: *Turns Arachne into a spider*The Crowd: Outstanding move

People need to realize that it’s not the chocolate that is sweet but rather the sugar that’s in it. That’s why when people buy unsweetened chocolate they’re disgusted by how bitter it is.

As Belgian pastry chef, we acknowledge that Mexico is in fact the mother land of chocolate. Yes it was in Europe that modern chocolate was born but without the use gave by ancient Mesoamericans stablished in what is now Mexico, modern chocolate would have taken longer to be created because non of the other mesoamerican tribes gave the same use to cacao beans as the Mexicans, also cacao beans were brought by the Spanish conquers from Mexico. If you ask any good chef from Germany, France, Netherlands or Belgium, they’ll told you that chocolate was born thanks to Mexico, so in the name of Europeans who love chocolate, Gracias Mexico. 🇲🇽 🍫

I can imagine in the afterlife that kid is telling everyone that he died because his mother drank all his medicine

Imagine go fighting and killing , then return just to receive cocoa beans

TED-Ed: “Not everything about chocolate is sweet”Dark Chocolate: *ARE YOU CHALLENGING ME?*

The Mayans were right. Chocolate is the food from heaven.

It’s quite interesting to watch it while eating chocolate 🍫

can we appreciate how elegant the animation is

For the advice at 4:11, I say this, “Well, it isn’t to me anymore now that I’ve just discovered the cruel side of its history. Have I now just completely lost interest in chocolate, due to this dark and twisted story about its history?I’ve liked chocolate for years, despite that I’m a savoury-eater. But, apart from that, I’d heard some about where chocolate comes from in StoryBots. And I like Swiss, Belgian and Cadbury’s chocolate the most, because they have plenty of cocoa in them.” 🍫

“Man now I want chocolate…””Oh I’m on a diet, I guess not”My diet: Only 1 bag of chocolate chips instead of 5

I live in colombia and when I was a kid my mom used to grind the cacao fruit directly from the cacao three and made natural chocalate

“Not everything about chocolate is sweet” Now that hit me. <3

Thanks for sharing this info! Chocolate sometimes gets a bad rap because chocolate products can include a lot of added sugar. Sometimes, there’s even up to 50g of added sugar in one chocolate bar! For context, the World Health Organization recommends staying under 25 g (or 6 teaspoons) of added sugar per day!

1:45 Mom: I should feed my sick kid.*honey or anything sweet gets added*Mom: nah let him die

I like watching these videos as they’re oddly comforting and make me feel really happy 😀

my family is zapotecan (indigenous to oaxaca, mx) and we have preserved a drink made from cacao and maize for thousands of years, it’s called tejate, we believe it is a drink of the gods 🙂

“Bitter Side of Sweet” is a great book about the child slavery to make chocolate

Aztecs and Mayans ❤️ Thank you Mexico for the Chocolate 🤗😛

The mesoamericans also gave us corn and vanilla.

1 hour of class translated to 5 minutes. Same knowledge

after watching this video, I have a new wish. I wish studying at school gets this easy, and that the teachers learn to explain this way, cuz I literally don’t understand a thing when they keep saying the same thing and making it seem hard by explaining it for 1 to 2 hours

Me: I’m going to go to bed early tonight. Also me at 2am: BuT hOW dOeS tHe BOdY bReAK dOWn FoOD?

Honestly thought I was gonna fail my test before watching this. My teacher gave us over 30 pages of notes that complicate everything and honestly this made me understand everything.

Me : watching video while eatingStomach: hey I m doing the same
